Looks like more positive talk about bitcoin is showing up on twitter recently.  I wonder if it will translate into a rally.

Only if it's something interesting enough to get people to come buy bitcoins.

Silk Road might have made some bad PR for bitcoin, but people came and bought them under the guise that they could buy drugs anonymously.

Yes, I agree. All the talk about drugs and money laundering was not positive for bitcoin.

I would argue that it was positive in the long term, just seemingly bad PR for the mass.

Luckily Bitcoin does not deal with the masses so people should be trading and thinking about Bitcoin with such things in mind Smiley

Of course, because the future of bitcoin lies with pornographers and drug dealers...hooraaaah!

It is a present battle of personal freedom.   Adult business, ie weed and women, to simplify it, are things people have enjoyed, continue to enjoy, and will enjoy.  If something like Bitcoin can come in for people to make it it a little more stress free to obtain, well I really feel it is the sole reason for Bitcoin's success at all  Tongue

If bitcoin is going to become successful it's going to need more than porn and drugs to go on.  It could eventually break the backs of the current dominant power structure in the world:

Give me control of a nation's money and I care not who makes her laws. --
