i read that
new version of ethereum's Geth node software has been released, which includes support for the upcoming "Byzantium" upgrade as well as a series of performance enhancements.

also something about metropolis.

what is geth btw? is that for solo mining? or is there somthin im going to need to do since i am in a pool

also anyone know when there  talking about implementing POS

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Metropolis is kinda here? or "soon", and PoS will be afew months i think yet, as i believe there was talk of a hybrid stage and such beforehand to ease all the poor miners in haha
Time will tell! they tend to delay it again and again ;p

In my opinion its not gonna go POS soon theres still are a few months to go.
Even if it goes POS there are still others coins to mine.
