Some media shows that bitcoin can be the next weapon to control the world economy. i think it is true and it will be seen soon. 

How can bitcoin be the next weapon to control the world  It is definitely a revolutionary development when it comes to economics and sure it will change the way people send and receive money and how people see money in the future,if the price of bitcoin shoots past a million dollar then it might control the world market as any slight price variation could move the entire global economic market.

It might be true, but there will be a fight against change and big institutions will do their best to avoid that kind of situation to happen

Look, Bitcoin will never be in control of anything, not because it can't but simply because that is never its vision. If you want to look for a cryptocurrency that will want to gain control over the world/region/economy, anything like that? Then look at some of the top alts. Pretty much many of them want to do something like that (except Litecoin and Dogecoin hehe).

Bitcoin in the future might make a change over the entire financial functioning. This doesn't mean that this controls the world economy. Economy as a whole is contributed with several factors that are interconnected to the governance and to the growth of specific locality happening with certain time differences.

Bitcoin is decentralized and look right now, there's a big company that says bitcoin is a fraud but later on joined bitcoin. Look on how China banned, trading platforms but still they are considering bitcoin. I'm not saying that bitcoin will control the world economy but it's up to the countries if they will let bitcoin control their economy, that's very simple for bitcoin if they will allow.

Taking in consideration the recently issues with bitcoin it looks like a one-man word would be enough to spread a massive fud over bitcoin/cryptocurrencies.
So i think it is too early to say that, but maybe it would be possible in 20 years, maybe a lot more, but who knows? banks will try to do the impossible to stop bitcoin technology, so i think it will take some time.

It might be fair to say demand drives the world economy. If bitcoin fares well, its due to it supplying people with a needed service or commodity. Being a provider of goods or services may not translate directly to controlling an economy. Control implies a dominant portion of market share but doesn't affect demand, which drives markets.

Microsoft windows might have owned a majority share 80% to 90% of the personal computer OS market at one time. If Linux or Mac were able to create a product which better satsified global demand, microsoft may have been dethroned.

I don't think that it is true that bitcoin will control the world economy because the world economy is already being controlled by someone and that is the governments from all over the world and if they are not here then the world economy is completely decentralized also. Governments are already controlling anything and that is why we have bitcoin because that will give us freedom in our money.

It is just a pathetic dream for the speculator who's been obsessed with the bitcoins but actually the reality is the bitcoins would not control nor dominate on the world economy since every country has its own player. And remember Bitcoin has not been legalized for some countries and some other thread it as fraud or dirty money.

Remember that there are others countries that limits bitcoin or they used bitcoin but not at all of there service. So for me bitcoin will stay as digital money but it can't control the world. Maybe possible that the price in the trading market controlled but not the whole world.

It's not for sure if you see even gold is still not controlling the economy controlling and on other hand bitcoin is a coin not made by any government nor it's price can be controlled it has surely gained lot of reputation but in terms of economy never as price control will still be in hands of the public

i don't think it will come to a certain point where bitcoin is controlling the world in some aspects, but as other people usually sy it could possibly done, and that is the thing i didn't believe, and to tell that how could a certain country would be controlled by just a currency, besides it is not that you are going to be addicted with it anyway. In the end only people in the market has the control of the prices.

Its not that easy that bitcoin will control the world economy, There must be a back up story behind on how does those things realize, We know bitcoins are expensive, precious than Gold, Decentralized and etc, but i can't imagine bitcoin will the economy, If this things happens in the future, Today is  a good chance to collect and hold for the next generation. Government should have a deep research on the possibilities of bitcoin impact in the future generation.

I think this should be the answer to the real problem the world leaders are afraid of.is there really such a thing right now? if not, when will it be?

Many governments fear that their economy is out of control because bitcoin is not their original product, if bitcoin's effects are so strong and without strict regulations inflation will happen and destroy their economy very quickly, this is a serious problem, On the other hand, the government has not been able to make regulations and even the China government seems to be getting frustrated with bitcoin.

I don't think this is going to happen in the near future. If this will be true they can declare ban on bitcoin just like China did. I hope that this ban on Bitcoin will stop on China but as of now we don't know what other countries are thinking about it.

I cant even imagine that a currency like dollars and bitcoin could control the world economy. Simply because they are just things, but what will bitcoin do in the world economy is that it will improve it. Bitcoin control the economy of the world? Maybe yes but in good way, because bitcoin give chance the unemployment people to have a job. Moreover, the people who have fair salary can get additional income to provide the things they want to have.
