I cant even imagine that a currency like dollars and bitcoin could control the world economy. Simply because they are just things, but what will bitcoin do in the world economy is that it will improve it. Those who adapt bitcoin as exchange will see great changes like lower unemployment rate land for those who are not will be left behind.

Bitcoin control the economy of the world? Maybe yes but in good way, because bitcoin give chance the unemployment people to have a job. Moreover, the people who have fair salary can get additional income to provide the things they want to have.

Nope it do not control it,and it will never as it is decentralised so no calculation of money in form will be taken for world economy calculation.currently USD and EURO control the international markets.bitcoin might control virtual market but not global interchange markets.

you guys are differentiating bitcoin and fiat money too much. Yes bitcoin can gives way to jobs but doesn't it applies also to fiat-- i mean they're both a medium of exchange so

both of them can be given as an income. the fact that it can't be controlled and can't be taxed opposes fiat currencies that are backed by government, i think its one of the

reasons why people are obessing on which of them are superior and will be. To be honest i like both of them to co-exist together

The economy of a particular country is so diversified to be controlled by just one factor alone which in this case currency. What is being used to control an economy is not only on the basis of currency, because beyond currency are other factors which individually or collectively will determine the direction of the economy which include the political landscape, the banks, the private sectors, education sector.

Even the non contributory sectors of the economy such as the military, the justice system, the police or the social service are not left out in the scheme of events.

So putting all these together means, I don't see bitcoin controlling the world economy not now,not in the nearest future and maybe in the farthest future, it might be possible.

No it's not true atleast until all people are capable of using bitcoin. the authority and government also not that stupid to not stopping the growth of bitcoin or atleast make it struggling to grow.
if the world economy can be overtaken that easily, and seeing from the volatility of bitcoin, we'll soon doomed once it happen.

I do not think that this will happen, because in some countries bitcoin is banned and can not influence the economy there. I think some countries from time to time will put a ban to adjust the price of bitcoin.

Yes I agree to you that this will not happen because each country have their own plans for their citizen and they can be easily banned bitcoin anytime if they seek that bitcoin is not a good way to increase their economy and can increase the illegal activity in their country because of anonymous transaction.

Well, I don't believe so because bitcoin is not structurally created for the same. Bitcoin has created a parallel economy which thrives in the online environment. However, we still use fiat to measure the power of bitcoin. Bitcoin can be a massive game changer for the world economy only if it made legal by the governments around the world. But that's a distant dream and will not happen anytime soon.

I'm not sure about that, if bitcoin will control the world economy, bitcoin prices will be consistent and stable despite bad news about cryptocurrency. There is only news from China about the ICO ban, the price of the bitcoin fell instantly and it proves that bitcoin can not survive when turmoil occurs, if so I'm not sure bitcoin will be able to control the world economy.

I heavily disagree that bitcoin will be a weapon in manipulating the world economy. First, you need to consider that most countries around the globe are still on the "developing" stage, thus their priorities are inclined with the developmental of infrastructures and attracting investors to boost market liquidity. What's the relevance? Bitcoin's nature being digital means that its access is only available on the internet itself. If bitcoins were to control the economy, this may potentially destroy the economy of developing countries since most are on the poverty level, which does not have internet connection by itself.

It is not about the potential. I don’t think so you should be making mockery of the bitcoins. Bitcoins are the world best investments right now and masses are investing into bitcoins in order to have secure future. This could be partially true that news are being made to fluctuate the market but sometimes bitcoin can be just overthought in long terms. I like the idea to think bitcoin being worlds economy changer. Because it has got that potential being limited in number. Don't think that f it's limited then how can it be used by everyone? The thing is we consider bitcoin in the form of satoshi also and whi knows in the future one full bitcoin might be just 100k USD. Then one bitcoin can server many people in single piece. i don't think bitcoin will control the world economy but it can play a huge role. we can see now that more people start to know bitcoin and it gives lots of opportunities to them and to us too. we can use bitcoin and fiat money at the same time and that is a good thing
