Your predictions sound as likely as anything else.  Smiley  I sure hope you are right!  I am totally bullish though so I might be a little biased in my thinking.

Why are you bullish? I am for a lot of reasons, but the main one is that BTC performs currency functions better than the other options currently in existence, and provides a framework to add add'l features as needed in future.

The world is desperately wanting to move to becoming "cashless."  The only way this can happen is if we have something like Bitcoin to transfer payments in a secure way.  Bitcoin is the first crytpo currency to get traction.  The first may not be the best but if it gains worldwide acceptance it will be hard to stop.

Also, there is a great desire for people to move away from traditional banks.  People are losing trust in them, and rightfully so.  If there comes a day, which there most likely will, where people no longer trust banks because their money is "frozen" or "taken" by the banks there will be a massive run to Bitcoin.  I would say gold, but gold and silver is too cumbersome to trade with.

It costs way too much in fees to transfer money internationally.  Bitcoin solves this problem.  I am already taking advantage of that when we travel in a couple months.  We are going to meet with someone on Localbitcoins and save some money on international fees by using a local to give us some cash for some bitcoins.  Smiley

These are just a couple of my reasons I am bullish.

I tend to be an optimist though so perhaps I only see the good.  What always suprises me is how many people are bearish on this site though.  If they think BTC is such a waste of time, why are they even here?

People who sold BTC at $1 could not see $100.  That was an impossible dream and that was only a couple years ago.

I dont see any reason BTC should not be at $200, $250 by end of year, and by $500 within 2 years.
