Not with that much fall but I see bitcoin price will still play at the shadow of around $3,000+ which is way more interesting to see because we can see strong support here. If it goes down more then so be it. If it goes up then much better.

About on some altcoins, I don't have some insights yet since my altcoins on hold will be on hold as of the moment and I don't have any plans to dump it yet. Majority of my coins at my porfolio currently plays at a maximum 10% to 20% price decrease which is not alarming based on my own set of things to be considered.

You're right, and I think a lot of people are so concerned with the drops because they came in when Bitcoin was at a high. They maybe purchased at 4,000 and so to them, seeing a 25% drop in their investment in hours is very scary. For the long term holders, there is more experience with this type of situation.

What we are seeing is the same effect as a fire at a festival .... people run for the door killing each other....other people see people running and follow even though they have no clue why they are running..... people die due to hysteria not due to the actual threat....  

We are the guys remaining and drinking the free beers at the end


That said I don't blame the chinaman from protecting his assets ... China can be quite a controlling and unpredictable country (for us to understand)....

It seems it will continue to fall and there is no indication yet that it will stop. Although it's a good oppurtunity to buy, hope history won't repeat itself. That would affect a bitcoiner like me who only did was selling. Would be fine if it will stay in 4digit.

Is the news about chinese exchanges closing confirmed now? or is it still only rumors?

EDIT: nevermind. Chinese exchange: BTCC has will shut down on September 30 for those who don't know. Charlie Lee was right!

No, i don't expect any more drop for bitcoin.
altcoins is also too general a term for me to give opinion, there should be more specification.

but also i don't put aside the possibility of more drop. i think the safest assumption is that the chances of more drop is extremely small right now. the FUD can not get bigger than this. and you can't expect people to keep selling forever. it stops at some point when they run out of coins to sell and there is only whales left with a lot of coins in their pockets which they bought cheap at the bottom.

Many people had bad feelings that this fall might continue since china Issuing some statement that they will shut off there local exchangers by the end of the month and october so we might gonna fall for 2500$ at piece and if this price would reach then It will be the one of the biggest upset of the bitcoins and altcoins history.

Your categorically right, most on panic now are those who invested on 4000$ price per bitcoin this few months because that money is now at risked for they're owned thinking maybe. But those with holding bitcoin early this year or even those long term holder way back 2015 - 2016. They're not worried at all, most investors are now happy to buy some and I'm sure with that. So, the only solution is to think positive even at this decrease.

Yes I'm expecting bitcoin and alt coins to fall for the whole week or it can go to another round (2 week) fall. And this is like shaking the whole crypto and let the weaklings sell their bitcoins and the whales are now having the chance to buy some more and those weaklings will feel sorry that they didn't hold on as this happened for so many times.

it is sad but it actually depends on what news comes out!
it can go either way, although more drop is much harder now that a big drop has taken place. but in the end the FUD news is not yet at an end and it can go either way.

if you want to invest then it is a good time to start getting your money out of your wallet to exchanges in order to be ready to jump in.

As I know, Chinese decide to ban bitcoin on 30 September which causes this massive panic sell.
IMO , bitcoin will bubble again on October especially when segwit is coming on October , no need to sell you bitcoin since other country like Japanese and south Korea , have no issues about BTC

Today we have already seen 2,980 dollars for bitcoin and for me it was not a very pleasant event. I did not oppose that the price would drop below $ 3000.
Alternative coins are also very much cheaper.

Here no one can tell you about the down and up in the price of the next coming days or weekend because all these are expectations only and here people can make predictions by only with 50-50% expections in the most of the cases .
Here the best thing for you to go with the most better prediction probability because surity is not available here , so it is better to go with the profit with maximum probability prediction to get started .
Here currently my expectations for the altcoins is for the doge coin which is available currently at price 25 Satoshi , so may be currently the activity in the market of the bitcoin can change the life of the doge market .
And beside of the first prediction , the best another coin is BCH i.e bitcoin cash because it is also at low rate according to expections and can easily get up .
Third coin is Etherium coin which is really available at low price 0.06 btc per Etherium coin .

Indeed in a few days ago the price of any altcoin and follow bitcoin fall further so as to make the price value of bitcoin be weakened temporarily because it is already common. the current bitcoin has reached the number $3800 and I am sure that bitcoin will again rise steadily increased until it reaches the on numbers $5000 and survive till the end of this year.

I don't think it will fall further as it is already starting another bull run and i think it shall continue as long as there aren't further surprises from any regulators around the world. It should break $4k fairly easily.

However, i'm not that bullish about the next few months. Would prove an interesting few months without chinese exchanges, and i think that price may go to sub-$3k.

But in the short term, i think that the fall is temporarily over.
