close your eyes, imagine your goals or dream coming to pass, something pleasant. Pay attention to every detail, feel the warmth of the air, hear the sounds, and the emotion of happiness and joy you feel at accomplishing your goals. As you continue the script with your mind, sleep comes. It works!

I am in similar position, im having problems with sleeping,my biorhythm and so on. But i found one way to "get my brain tired"... When i go to sleep i start counting from 999 to 0, and i only focus my brain on that, i dont let my thought fly away, i never dropped down less then 900, im fully asleep before that
i think this idea can help me to sleep .

I am very concerned about the trouble of sleeping you face, my suggestion you should go refreshing to a comfortable place and you rest in place for a moment in order to enjoy sleep comfortably.

Get sleeping pill. Melatonin is really good. It's natural because it's the actual sleep hormone.

Try doing something to wear you out say some physical or mental exercises. Once the body is stressed out, it looks for a way to shut down (sleep) so it can 'recover' itself

Stop using your phone or laptop an hour before you sleep. Relaxes your eyes and mind making you fall a sleep quicker. Works for me.

First wanna ask you that how old you are? I used to sleep 10-12 hours when i was younger. Now i am +40 and can't sleep like before. 4, 5 hours maximum.

Second; when i can't sleep i am having herbal tea, you should try.  I would never recommend sleeping pills, it change your metabolism and its not cool..

You should consult your doctor. May be you'll have to take some drugs. Insomnia is dangerous. It may cause harmful conditions or be a symptom of a desease.
