I do not think it will happen in the near future.
even when china began to ban ico, and dismissed the exchanger, bitcoin prices went back up. Well, when the bitcoin price drops, I just see it as an opportunity.
I have a doubt too that bitcoin's price will drop near $2,000. $2,900 is the bottom because of the FUD and we are now far from that point. I'm thinking that the price can be better at $4,000 very soon. And these FUDs should be stop immediately so they can give bitcoin a break and will enter another ATH. I missed to see bitcoin landing near at $5,000 and reaching another higher price. |

I felt like I missed a great opportunity at selling high and buying low when it reached 5k and drop to 4k a couple of days ago. Now it happened again from 4k to 3k. You think it will happen a third time, from 3k to 2k?
Regret always happened because people don't have a strong stand on their decision on the given situation. When price is continously increasing, others will hope for a price decrease in able to buy again. But when time comes that price is decreasing, they will still wait more for dips but most of the times, it doesn't happening then again, then afterward price increase happened again. To answer OP, yes anything is possible in bitcoin price. Even prone to $1,000. If you think that a certain floor is the best level to entered, then just entered since you already know the risks. No one knows what will be the price movement after you buy so this is a matter of guts. |

Graphically it is of course possible. It's falling now, I don't know what's the FUD again or really the China effect still visible, unloke last week,it's fall is quite slow now but still alarming for newbies who are easily get panic when dips happened. |

I don't think at all bitcoin price will drop to such a low near that figure anymore, at least maybe it just drop to $3k only, and not lower than it's figure. Whatever the news that affects the bitcoin price, hopefully it doesn't affect to us for stay calm and not hastily to decide something. I think bitcoin price will still continues to going higher and will not go down near to $2k.

At present I do not consider the dip based on the current scenario because all of the factors are taken into consideration. Unless if there is another news from somewhere which is not healthy may impact the prices else from here slowly it may be but price should move in upward trend. |

If people will panic more and China's regulators give more bans to bitcoin price will go down. If the price go lower 3400 the next step will be 2500. Waiting for more news from east neighbours and hoping for a miracle.

I don't think bitcoin will go below 2k. I think it'll stop in the 2000-2400 range because many people consider this to be a very good entry point.

Exactly my sentiments too. Should have sold during 5K but I was so hung up and greedy for another all time high. Thought it will go a little higher. Well anyway, btc dropping is natural and 2K might be possible. There's no way of telling it especially with all the craze from China and JP Morgan. But one thing I'm still holding on to is the idea that this year will not end without btc reaching 5K again. |

Bitcoin will not fall to $2K but maybe around $2500 as the lowest price, unless something greater than China ban bitcoin occurs.
Recent news about Russia central banks against cryptocurrency may lead to another restrict regulations about bitcoin in there.
While people love to dump their bitcoin, so we're heading to $3000 mark again. This is just a proof that bitcoin market still very volatile affected by uncertain news and opinions.

Stop spreading false information. BTCC will keep operating, but not with its Yuan trading pairs anymore -- everything else remains unaffected. I am quite sure that the Chinese exchanges halting Yuan trading is already calculated in the current price. From this point we'll see the coming hard fork in November play a more and more important role, but unfortunately, not in a positive way. At the end of the day, if the market falls below the $3000 level again due to all the negativity that we'll go through, smart people will see it as a welcome opportunity to open positions. |

There's not much support until around that area, so we may visit a double bottom then shot up again. The good news is, even at low $2000 we would still not be out of the all time bull trend, and predictions of $10000 for next year (or possibly late this year if the 2x nonsense is avoided as much as possible without much drama) we can definitely hit that sweet 5 figure spot and once we get there, sky is the limit. Everyone's brain will be destroyed. Doubters will become believers. |

It is possible. However i do not think that it will happen this month or even this year. Even though the price is dropping currently it seemed to have stabilize at the $3600-3700 region and not going anywhere low from here. Next year i think we can expect bear market to kick in, price could definitely drop to $2k. Potentially we will have a chance to drop to $2.5k at November which will be a great buy, because of panic about the hard fork. |
