Ok, so I just got my confirmation email saying they have accepted my claim request.

The information I sent them included:

-Dwolla ID#
-IP when account created/Most commonly used IP
-Account Balance

*Side note*
For people who only put in Bitcoins from mining and have not withdrawn from MtGox. I suggest you included Bitcoin Deposit Address, i.e. the wallet address you used to send them the Bitcoins, to confirm.

i have well over 100 btc there,
sent my balance number in btc (not exact number, i did not know it, but within 10%)
and exact usd balance,
described exact amount of my only wire transfer,
btc purchasing price, and rough amounts of my withdrawals,

rejected,

now i sent exact balance in btc (deducted withdrawals form total purchased balance)
additional info on my wire transfer ,

they have my passport scan, so they can see that my claim email name matches that documents,
also they can find me on facebook and match my profile picture...

and I can send scans of wire transfer documentation,
but I am afraid  to send anything, because they must have enough data that i send in my claim description, i made my claim very complementary to the data they already hold...

edit:

I received following message :

Your account recovery request has been accepted.
You will be able to access your Mt.Gox account once the site opens again.

I just had an idea for MtGox - maybe they should require a proof of control over one of bitcoin addresses used for withdrawals of deposits (the older the operation the better).  It could be easily done by making a transaction from that address - then MtGox could verify that on blockexplorer or using their own software on their bitcoin block copy.

I only had ~10 btc in my account and I got it back by providing ip address and account balance. Maybe they require more proof if you have >100 in your account.

Quite possibly and that would be very sensible.  Some people always jump to conclusions though.

My confirmation request was accepted too.
I gave them my approximate balance in $ and BTC, and the bank I made deposits with.
I only had a very small amount of $ and BTC though (less than 3 each).

Not in my experience.
