After I log into bitcoin talk all the image links are broken, like this:

This happens with several different browsers.

Sounds like it's an issue with your internet connection.  Are you at an office or somewhere else where it may be limited?

Interestingly this issue occurs with Opera 12.15 on multiple operating systems, as well as IE 8 on windows XP. It does not occur when using Firefox on both Windows and Linux however.

I recently added some JavaScript, though I don't see how that script could cause this. Does it happen when you disable JavaScript?

IIRC this issue has been occurring for at least three-four months. I tried disabling javascript on both Opera and Internet 'sploder on a Windows XP machine to no avail. Any other troubleshooting suggestions?

What happens when you try visiting the links directly. Like:
https://bitcointalk.org/Themes/custom1/images/on.gif

Interestingly this issue occurs with Opera 12.15 on multiple operating systems, as well as IE 8 on windows XP. It does not occur when using Firefox on both Windows and Linux however.

Based on this, my first guess is that it has something to do with SSL. Firefox handles SSL natively -- all other browsers rely on Windows' SSL handling.

Writing this from an x64 linux system on Opera 12.15. The link you provided works. however if I view source on this forum page, and try the following links I get "404 Not Found nginx" errors.

Ah, you changed your theme from the default. I fixed it for you.
