Hello, I am actually a university student and my budget is kinda limited(a lot) so I was thinking. Is it worth to actually buy btc worth of 50€ right now?
My friend told that it's troublesome  for just that amount of money(to actually buy when I get more and the price falls low again . But I am worried in case I lose this chance now, because who knows when btc will reach 600€ again? Years? Months? Never? Even if the prices goes to x2 I think it's a pretty good deal)
What do you think?

Ofcourse it is.  Just buy 50 now and buy again next month again.
I think most people don 't have thousands of dollars to spare to buy large amounts at once.
I know I don 't.  Familie and mortgage have to be taken care of also.

Sure, why not?

If you buy at the right time you could make a decent profit eventually.

If you have time to daytrade you could probably make some starting profits the coming weeks as I sense the price of BTC will continue to be affected by Chinas regulations

My advice for you is to buy 40 Euro Bitcoin, 7 Euro Litecoin and 3 Euro Dogecoin. Bitcoin is very old and the best you can get from a new price growth is 10x (maybe in 3-5 years), but litecoin and dogecoin are at the beginning. A 100x price growth of either Litecoin or Dogecoin in 1-3 years will be better, isn't it?
So go also into some alt-coins with 10-20% of what you have for bitcoin buying.

IMO, it is worth to buy 50€ worth of BTC now but if you intend to send your BTC to another wallet for storage, you have to take into consideration of the transaction fees. And remember not to store BTC in an exchange if you intend to keep for long term.

Bitcoin price is really dynamic. So if you buy today at some price, that may fall tomorrow, but it can also increase day after tomorrow. You are young at age so you can actually think of long term. I am sure, bitcoin will not disappoint you in longer term. But if you are trying to make quick profit, then it is up to your fate. But if you are thinking long term, go ahead and buy bitcoin.

yes it is worth it but it can prove to be a bit hard to do. because usually people are not selling that small amount of bitcoin and fiat transfers are a pain in the ass.
of course since you apparently already have a friend in bitcoin you can buy bitcoin from him. for example if he has an account on an exchange with funds you can ask him to give you 50€ worth of bitcoin and you pay him in cash.

I don't like giving out advice because I don't want to be responsible for people losing their money on my bet, which could always happen.
The only advice I ever give:

Don't invest more than you are willing to lose!

I understand as a student, you don't want to lose anything, but you have to understand that investing comes with a risk. Especially cryptos are very volatile. If you're not comfortable with that, you should put your money in a savings account.

If you do jump into this, regard your €50 as lost and you will not be disappointed, ever!
It's too bad you just missed the dip to €2600 yesterday, which to me was a good deal. It's up to you now to figure out when you wish to jump in.

In short: yes, it can be worth it in the long term. €50 is actually a perfectly fine amount to get your feet wet and test your nerves Smiley

Hope this helps a bit. Good luck!

No matter how much you have even if you can spend a spare 10$ a week, it's always a good idea to get bitcoin plus the price is going down so you'll make a good profit in no time that's how most people started most of us don't have thousands to invest we're just random people with hopes to get rich.

I started with $30 every week and been buying ever since. Recently just stopped because of the high price and my funds are focused into other ventures. The thing is it's never too late to get into something even if it's crowded. There's still a chance to get some profits in the long run if you're a patient person. I myself believed that it was a waste buying into $200 thinking that it's a dead coin anyway, but apparently the smarter side of me just bought while I can and I have the best decision of my life.

Just like you I also began my btc investment with such a low investment and it has tripled itself till now. Dont hesitate in investing any amount. Once you buy bitcoin you will see a whole new crypto world ahead of you with endless opportunities.

The biggest problem with Bitcoin is that people don't understand that it can be divided by 100 million. Many think that if you want to purchase BTC, you have to go for one full coin (which is trading at $3,650 right now). That is not true. You can even purchase BTC0.100 or even BTC0.001.

I think he knows that but he's actually asking if it's worth buying and keeping 50€ worth of BTC. Like someone had mentioned, the most BTC could rise would be highly likely x10 only in the next decade. The worth is up to your belief in my opinion, try to read up and find out more on BTC before deciding for yourself.

My strategy is buying a little bit every month! Invest what you can afford to lose and relax, because bitcoin will grow much more in the near future - dont stress with the dips and crashes, it'll bounce back stronger

Your friend's probably right in the sense that the trouble needed to get verified on an exchange could be bothersome, depending on where you come from. Also, to scout for a good price for 50 EUR might be tough. Why? Because most types of exchanges take a flat fee plus percentage. It doesn't seem like a lot when buying hundreds or thousands of dollars worth, but if you have to pay a $5 fee to deposit your cash for the trade, you lose 10% immediately.

My suggestion: localbitcoins. Most sellers allow online payments, go for an escrow. You'll get your full 50 euros worth (at the trading price) and it costs very little to withdraw coins out of LBC to your own wallet.

BTW, I complete my first year of being in Bitcoin today. Exactly one year ago, it was around $600. Had I had bought $50 worth then, I'd have about $300 now.

There is surely nothing wrong with it. But do not expect to make any large sum of money from it. Being rich and achieving financial independence takes a lot of patience, hard work and a little luck. You have the correct proposition by thinking that you need to invest in something. Do not give up.

Now find a real job to have a source of income for your future investments.

You are right, We can go to purchased a part of 1 bitcoin, because not all peoples are rich to buy one or more bitcoins. For exemple, in my case i bought in these days 0.1 bitcoin, and i am happy with this purshased because i believe to much in bitcoin and I know that bitcoin price will increase too soon.

Think of it this way, what else were you going to do with that money? Video games, booze? I would suggest looking into dollar cost averaging if you are on a tight budget, that way you can take advantage of any price swings.
