Libre Bazaar Project - Hero / Legendary Members Required As Treasurers

Libre Bazaar Project will be conducting a pre-sale in later half of Fall 2017 to raise funds for project development and marketing. To establish transparency and address financial risks, all funds contributed as part of the pre-sale will be kept in multiple multi-sig wallets jointly held by Libre Bazaar project team and community members. Hero / Legendary members of the community who are interested in becoming a Treasurer for Libre Bazaar project please post here for transparency purposes and I will contact you with details. Treasurers for the pre-ICO will be announced in early October 2017 so all interested please confirm accordingly before end of September 2017.

It may be a better idea to contact escrows[1] instead of choosing random Hero and Legendary members, you don't know how much money you are going to raise so assuming that It will be successful, you don't want to risk to have funds stolen. You may want to check If they are active before contacting them and in case you are looking for multiple people, there is ranochigo and Lauda which are both trusted but not added there because list is no longer being updated by the OP.

This is to establish transparency in the process and off-course all profiles will be scanned before they are shortlisted. But in case the right treasurers are not found it would be an obvious choice to go with trusted escrows.

Understandable, I would like to offer you a piece of advice. I wouldn't trust anyone who doesn't have dark green trust or a trust rating of over 15, and even then, I wouldn't be giving more than 5,000 USD to those people.

Would recommend you go contact a couple of the bigger escrows, I think SebastianJu is holding the entire funds for an ICO and I would definitely trust monbux with 100,000 USD.

It is a good step to show transparency but you must be warned that Hero and Legendary accounts are sold here in the forum, so do not trust anyone on the basis of their account rank. Alongside the rank, I will advice you to go for trusted escrows in this forum who has the history and feedback of managing funds.

Selected treasurers will be announced in this thread during the first week of October 2017 and concerns raised by the community (if any) regarding this selection will be openly addressed in a transparent manner before the pre-sale.

Yeah, don't be fooled by the title, don't think these guys are going to pick anyone with a couple of years of trades and at least DT-2. Giving out 2 private keys to your entire operation is a lot of money I don't think some random hero/legendary member here will be able to provide that.

Anyways, great job for showing transparency will be looking forward to seeing your project and how it works out.

We considered him for the escrow but we need escrow service providers who accept both BTC and ETH as these will be cryptocurrencies accepted during the pre-ICO. Nevertheless, we will stop taking applications for escrow in about 18 hours i.e. end of day 30-Sep-17 (UTC). Selected escrows will be announced soon.

Even though I am a Legendary status member, I wouldn't want the responsibility of holding any coins in case I was ever hacked or something got lost. I would personally opt for escrows but as community members with this rank, maybe we can do something nice in a promotional sense?

Everyone was publicly allowed to apply so that the process stays transparent. We are just sorting out the final bits after which a formal announcement will be made in the ANN thread. Any concerns raised after the announcement will be addressed accordingly, however the treasurers taken on-board are well established escrows and one of the best in their class so we believe community will be more than happy with our arrangements.
