There's a lot of bitcoin wallet in the app. Store but how can we trace if the app.that we are using is not a scum. Is there a fastest way to know and select which wallet app. Is the best to use for us begginers.
I think it is also depend on which country you are in. Here in our country coins.ph is most usable wallet since this wallet provides us to easily encash it here in our country. Some other says that paper wallet is also good. I don't still try that but I just also want to know how to use it maybe this week I will search for it.

I use Bitcoin core wallet with prune mode enabled, so I don't have to keep the entire blockchain on my hard disk!

I personally recommend it as it's the best way to have a FULL wallet without having to waste a lot of space.

My entire Bitcoin directory is around 2.5 Gb.

For me here in the Philippines Coins.ph is the best bitcoin wallet in our countries because there are lot of features and advantages when you use coins.ph for example you want to load your smartphone you can use coins.ph as the reloading of your phones load and will get a 10% free for the total amount of your load. Also payments through coins.ph is fast and reliable.

Blockchain is essentially a public ledger of cryptocurrency transactions (e.g. Bitcoin) shared globally and driven by a consensus mechanism that ensures transparency, trust and accuracy for all transactions conducted.
There’s no need for banks, government institutions or other centralized intermediaries because the blockchain is verified by all parties so that the value, use and transactions can only be executed via unanimous agreement. Blockchain acts like a complete banking transaction history that is organized chronologically. Each block is like an individual bank statement with the entire database of transactions being shared by all parties (or nodes) in a system.
Just as the Internet became the first native digital platform for the transmission and dissemination of information, blockchain is the first native digital platform for value. And that means significant implications for businesses and consumers alike.

for me , best bitcoin wallet would be  a  hardware wallet.  Hardware wallets are secure, offline devices. They store your private keys offline so they can't be hacked.

but if you are not fond if this, you can have a desktop wallet.  example would be , Electrum , it is a light weight Bitcoin wallet  you cacn use for Mac, Linux, and Windows. Electrum was created in November 2011. The main features of Electrum are: support for hardware wallets (such as TREZOR, Ledger Nano and KeepKey), and secure Bitcoin storage using an offline computer. this  is a good option for both beginners and advanced users.

I`ve been using spectrocoin and I love it.

Can you please share me the link to this app?

Up to now, I'm using FreeBitcoin wallet app, because this app gives you 50% when you refer someone. But I'm not satisfied with this app.

And while searching the web I found some best bitcoin wallet apps list. You can check out this list and refer someone also.

Hardware or desktop wallet is the best wallet. You can go with Electrum which is very fast, easy to use and high security. It is very easy to use you just have to remember the seed key and where ever and when ever you want you can install the Electrum software and install your old seed key and your old wallet is ready. Online wallet are risky as you dont have control over that wallet private key so if any time if the online web wallet shutdown or anything bad happens you will be in loss. Some web wallet dont allow the user to use online wallet for any illegal activity or gambling. They can ban or block your account any time.

In my opinion the best way to chose a wallet is visiting the official web page of the coin and chose one of the suggested Android Apps.
There are many fraud wallets around and you have to be carefull.
Mane have lost their money.
You'll find out many stories in this forum.

There are conceptually two broad categories of the wallets you are looking for.

1. Online wallets: In these wallets it needs you to connect to the internet and then save your stakes. However, you need to essentially keep your “private keys” secure to safeguard your hard earned BTC. A few to recommend would be Exodus, Electrum, Coinomi, Jaxx etc.

2. Offline wallets: On the other hand, in offline wallets, they are not just hardware wallets. Practically any wallet that never needs to connects to the internet to interact falls under this category. However, technically the moment you connect to the internet they no longer remain “Offline”. Here you just need to download the link and install it. A few to recommend would be Bitcoin Core, Bitcoin paper wallet, Ledger, Nano S, Trezor, Electrum, etc.

Now it is you who has to decide which one to choose. But generally as long as you can keep your private keys secure you could use either one.

In my opinion the best wallets are these referred by the developers of the coin, because are tried by them.
Avoid using on-line wallets. You don't own the private keys so you don't own the coins. If something goes wrong (WEB WALLET HACKED) you are going to lose them.

I would never accept my bitcoin stores online, use a desktop wallet, like Bitcoin Core or Electrum, as already said.
Only keep your BTC online if you are trading.

And it's not that bad to store those coins online when you don't want to suffer with fees. You'll store it with some trusted exchanges but with a very tiny amount. Don't put big amount as they are still vulnerable with attacks but when it comes to keeping it go with desktop wallet or nano ledger s.

You don't have to download the whole entire blockchain with electrum. It's a lite wallet so you don't have to do that.

I'm guessing you are talking about bitcoin core?

Try using blockhain. All this time for me blockchain is the best wallet from the past until now. Blockchain has a very good level of security and trust. Two features in the blockchain wallet that is 2fa and private keys into advantages compared to other wallet. Oh yes blockchain also has applications in android and also an integrated webbase system. This is an excellent plus value of blockchain.

The best bitcoin wallet to me is the Blockchain, which have been use for bitcoin and  is very save up till now. The security for the password must be kept secret and save.

First rule, don't listen to beginners on.

Go to the origin, bitcoin.org, and look at their recommended products.

https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet

If you can't decide then order a Trezor and/or download Electrum.

Then locate the support group for the wallet(s) you picked, and read it thoroughly, and bookmark it.

The wallet is really only as good/safe as the user.
