Guys Relax,

All exchanges witness the same problems:
http://cryptocoinscity.com/news.html

Explosion of users together with DDOS attacks. nightmare for websites but it will
be handled when the web-servers will be upgraded.

Only YOBIT stays stable (lol) Nobody dares to DDOS them. You will probably
get a nuke in your rosebud when you try that.

good luck,
reiniere.

I see difference between coinsmarkets and other exchanges with problems.
To other exchanges you can still log in and access your balances.
On coinsmarkets it is random, depends from which cache you get website, so either you see info with happy new year or about servers being delivered or error from cloudflare.

Just this tiny difference made me bit worried.

There is one more thing, which worries me.. on some occasions you can access live content from server... but when you go to withdrawal you get information that withdraw.php has not been found, so file is removed.
Files don't vanish from server because of overload, so that was removed for a purpose.
One might be to avoid massive withdrawals, which would completely killed their system. Another might be to disallow people to take their funds from exchange, so they can takeover.

Considering lack of communication from CM team and way whole situation develops it has all signs of organized theft.

It would be really nice if coinsmarkets would offer customers a possibility to move the coins there to another exchange. It takes too long to move or upgrade :-(
Anyone know the support E-Mail address from Coinsmarkets Team?
Webmaster@coinsmarkets.com,
Support@coinsmarkets.com

Thank you very much! I will send them an e-mail and hope to get an answer.

try it, i`m waiting since ten days for an answer to my tickets...

If they are scam, then they are very stupid. The money from transaction fee is enough for them and they are growing fast.
I have alot in CM. I want the site back and ok

and this is the only piece which I don't understand either... if that was such a good cash-cow, why to shutdown and runaway with money.
besides they will have to sell all coins at some point and most of them is not listed anywhere else.
also, this might be the point... enough BTC collected to runaway as majority of coins is worth nothing there.

Got below from chatbox.

SCIFENEFICS: @LtcX I removed my name from whois with godaddy privacy option, purely because i started getting a 100 emails a day and spammed like a motherfcker... seriously even companies were calling me on phone somehow??.. so there are other reasons to be private

TheRealJohnMcAfee: @LtcX Why use a real whoisinfo? He could get kidnapped easily and would be made to pay for his own ransom with our coins.

In whois info you put company name. And using some random people home addresses is seriously business practice? Smiley
Those explanations about address sound like BS.

Chatbox stayed online, so people got distracted from everything. Nobody thinks about reporting scam to authorities. It's already around 4 days.
These days you can fix any system with web application and database behind that in hours not days.
People will be barking in chatbox for next week or two, then they will leave and CM people will be gone by then with all BTC from exchange.

I don't think they will touch any of s**tcoins as there is no chance to sell them anywhere else.

That is scenario I see happening.

well said. How a website with 10k...20k...30k USD daily revenue couldn't hire some outsource specialists and couldn't buy a reliable service? For crying out loud. Also the site barely upgraded during its 6 or 8 month reign. The good projects are trying to improve their services while CM added STAKING to draw more attention. Clear PONZI-signal. The admins are greedy as fuck...running an outdated unreliable website and don't want to spend a tiny cent to improve it. Look at that website design. As one guy said on trollbox: "I want to silt my wrists with my laptop every-time I see it".

As they said, they are migrating servers...why would have they invest on DDOS protection a few days ago, if it was for leaving with coins???

So just wait patiently, like everybody Smiley

Coinsmarkets address?
https://blockchain.info/address/1NavDTJhxZY45xHxh4bxgzZQd4YNiaSHHq
Where does it go?
Looks like the btc is going to another exchange to get washed.
https://blockchain.info/address/1NDyJtNTjmwk5xPNhjgAMu4HDHigtobu1s
Looks like it was game over 1/3/2018

They may have moved a majority of the coins off the servers and are leaving deposits open so they may harvest more.
Along with other what others have argued, this was a regular cash cow, surprising they didn't keep it going it would only have gotten larger.

You insinuate something without supporting it with evidence. CoinsMarkets address with only 66 tx and 34 bitcoins. Come on.
