So, here are my 2 cents.. here is my ECA wallet, final balance: https://ibb.co/mHtgzGAs you can see there is over 138k of ECA. This is wallet address: EZTfUiSSAG7SkdwQ3ywSFEmuxp55TH5R15 As we can see from blockchain explorer: https://www.electraexplorer.com/address/EZTfUiSSAG7SkdwQ3ywSFEmuxp55TH5R15It never had that balance. In addition to that current balance is 0 ECA. Most of transactions were done on database only, so no surprise that lot of things can't be tracked.

So, that makes it not possible to prove final balance of the account, if database is gone. In addition to that after deposit whole amount was transferred from deposit address to some other wallet.

There are statements that coins have been stolen - however if I check my BTC wallet on explorer https://blockchain.info/address/1DGGqBTtQ282pqqGeonuntnhCDieY3xZXYThe coins are still there??? I am fairly new to this but if they were to steal the coins would there need to be a transaction to another wallet otherwise the blockchain would be incorrect??? Correct me if I am wrong but I do not see how the coins can just be made to disappear from one wallet on the blockchain and reappear on another with out a record being written for the transfer? I have various other coins at CM but a search on their explorers errors saying the wallet address is not found??? I am sure when I searched these a couple of weeks ago the balance was correct - cannot explain this??

However, today can't login at all. Login attempt results in: "An operation on a socket could not be performed because the system lacked sufficient buffer space or because a queue was full."

I am sure when I searched these a couple of weeks ago the balance was correct - cannot explain this?? Based on my example seems that coins deposited to CM were transferred to exchange general wallet. Then all transactions were made in database, so might not be reflected on blockchain. In terms of your BTC wallet, there are still coins there, so these were not transferred anywhere.

So I guess for the time being - while the BTC coins remain in my wallet will assume that they are working on fixing the site not stealing the coins. But if there is a transfer from this wallet that will be proof of theft and time to chase them down and make an example of them.

You can assume that. However, I wouldn't be so optimistic. Personally I lean towards idea that they just wait for storm to calm down to cash-out. With all mess within over 2 weeks, I'd say, if intention was good, CM would make official statement and apologies. I don't consider one-liners on website as form of communication. Especially that these are tuned up to situation to keep people waiting without visible results of any actions. If they would be honest, despite web servers being dead they could start sending money back to people manually, if that would be honest operation. Changing comments on website kept people away from taking legal actions and in my opinion that was the aim. Once someone start contacting hosting, they were a bit afraid, hence updated one-liner on website to keep people away for longer. Lack of communication and no will to talk to community/customers makes them rather scam than legit. It's common pattern they used, also used by companies outside of crypto business to bullshit about liabilities. Just to gain more time and avoid people taking legal actions. And here I'm speaking out of experience in real-life business as well. Had similar accidents and without legal action taken immediately I would lose money, so this pattern of BS-ing people used by CM is no new for me.

Are people still making deposits to this site? Lordy lord I hope not. Maybe that is why the site is still online? To grab more deposits from the clinically retarded?

Honestly, that wouldn't surprise me if people still sending money there. Looking at some comments of believers, they might think that donating money for "new servers" is something normal But well... you can't force people to use cold calculation and brain
