Hoping to snag some more before the weekend ends. It appears prices have stabilized, but which is the best bet for a two or three week position? This is a small buy.
In my obligation, none of those! As it's really very hard to predict which one next to pump, but under $1 mostly are best choice. Actually, Bitcoin price influenced all of crypts, those you mentioned above long term but you may take it short as there so many rumors.

I think the best coin for a short position or even for a long term position would still be bitcoin, you can profit from it even if you go short term in my opinion or based on what I have experienced.

I think they are big coins not suitable for short term. If you want them you have to wait some time to resell them. And my advice is choose between their ethereum or bitcoin coins well with that tall one prospect

For a short term profit  buy bitcoin when most dumped.Although buy ETH,LTC  but two altcoin pump slowly, so best prediction buy bitcoin.

for short term investments if you are day trading then all three of them are good options as long as you really know how to trade them. to buy in the dips and sell on highs. bitcoin is currently fluctuating between two prices that are perfectly clear and unless it can break any of the lines it will continue to do so and also bitcoin in long term will rise so even if you make a mistake you won't regret it for long.

both LTC and ETH have high volumes enough for this type of trading strategy but also they are a bit riskier moves to trade them like this because it may take a much longer time for them to recover and sometimes they don't move much.

and remember than trading like this in altcion market means you are locking your funds up in a small profit while others are shooting up to the moon.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

I choose btc and eth, for ltc just leave it, you need extra time for ltc. For me, bitcoin and eth is good option for 3 week - 1 month, even sometimes need more time but always give profit. For sure let's see our graphic chart price and using long time period ( day - week - month ) to make a good analyze. Actually, no one knows the right time to take profit, but with simple analyze like this we can predict as well. Have a nice day.

In my little experience all of these coins are for long term position. But you buy one of them for short position then I prefer LTC. Because LTC rising smoothly day by day.

Just realized i misrepresented my question. Which will have a higher x/BTC ratio in a few weeks- ETH or LTC?

Two to three weeks AND a small buy, you would barely have any profit from that time frame between your two choices especially at this time. I think you should go for long term with ethereum, even with a small investment it would be a better choice than LTC.

If you want to make much profit so you have to hold coin for a long time. You can buy BTC for short term. Because BTC price is dumping. And It will pump soon. You can earn much from BTC holding.

Agreed with you
If anyone want to make much profit theymust have to hold any kind of coin for long time. Because hold is the best way to earn money. From  ETH, LTC, BTC  i also think BTC is the best for a short position. So anyone can earn much from bitcoin.

This is a good way to buy, wait for any profit at that time to sell it. But for short term investment like this ETH will be a good choice. If it is me then I will choose ETH for short term investment.

I do think that ETH has better chances to spike up in price since it survived the recent correction despite all the coins declining. The price didn't go much down as compared to BTC. But now since the correction is over and Bitcoin is quickly recovering it's price there are pretty good chances that Bitcoin will take the lead. The charts from the last year showed similar directions and it indicates that a BULL run is sure to come now and we might see a new ATH in the upcoming months. So you might consider ETH first and then BTC to give you good short term gains.

Till now in all the alts Eth has been the standout from last 6 months and the prices are the strongest evidence. It was more certain to me when he showed the resilience to the downfall of the month.I have invested heavily in ETH and i am firm with the decision of holding for long time. With this progress it is most prominent that it might achieve some magical figures in few coming months.

I believe that diversification is very important in trading on the crypto exchange. So take all coins 3 equal parts.

The time to be short has already passed. Bitcoin bottomed at $9,200 most likely, I doubt there is a big enough margin to take a short position without not losing sleep, and health is first.

I would hold through this, the worst has already happened. People are slowly catching up with the lightning network being operative on the mainnet, haters can't no longer accuse it of being vaporware, so it's very real. Now let's see how it goes through this year. I think we may be seeing in a couple of months that will render current as a total bargain and yet another missed opportunity to get in for these that aren't buying now.

Worst case scenario is we go to $4000 to rebound higher at a slower pace, but it's now a risk to not get in, maybe get in with 50% just in case we go lower (%50 of crypto-allocated capital, I don't mean %50 of entire net worth obviously)
