Advantages:
No premine.
High initial difficulty.
Reward based on distribution of coin.
Everybody and their dog will know about it.

Disadvantages:
SHA256.
No community.
No binaries.
One version then see ya.

EASY CALCULATION FOR TRADES: 1 Million is 1x10e6. 1 Satoshi is 1x10e-8. 1 M sat is 1x10e-2. 100 M sat is 1. If 1 herpcoin = 100 derptoshi then
1 M herpcoin @ 001 derptoshi = 0.01 derpcoin, 1 M herpcoin @ 100 derptoshi = 1.00 derpcoin

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

I am serious.

It will be released. I just won't be taking care of it. Or compiling binaries. I will compile my own to test. But I'll get rid of it. Maybe the BTC community will like to play with it.
