Digital Assets, Apertus and Hyperledger Smart Contracts

what are you trying to accomplish?  I've always wanted to have some kind of working trading card game on Apertus.io

With Bytestamp we are able to create digital assets with a chain of proven ownership.  Other examples are Book of Orbs, Magic the Gathering, Rare Pepe Party etc.

Here is a digital asset I created on Bytestamp, owned by my Datacoin address DKCuFxwHwpRsq3jP8w3PT3s2TKqPP29ZJU:

http://www.bytestamp.net/docs/qdoc/en/04d8359827d9625be4ed605e1e70ea90

The idea is to be able to trade these assets on a market for say Datacoin.  At the moment we have such a market:  Hyperledger marbles.  DTC2017 integrated Datacoin into Hyperledger with the following project:
Download from https://mega.nz/#!hTIylRwY!5IYysWovtYl4viegt4fHViQrwd5eIjGgRffrwj0H-JI

This market is not yet hosted anywhere, but I can see a fantastic synergy.

Could you integrate Hyperledger and Apertus.io?  And could you then host a Marbles market, where assets could be purchased and traded with Datacoin?

With Hyperledger smart contracts we could do atomic swaps and atomic purchases.  Send Datacoin to a particular address and you automatically gain ownership of a digital asset.
It doesn't have to be pictures, it could also be things like game codes and DRM keys.

Apertus currently lacks a market.  Hyperledger is a project of the Linux Foundation, and Linus Torvalds himself is a Fellow.  Quite a combination.

Nasdaq files patent on Digital Assets

I see Nasdaq filed a patent in May 2017 on digital assets and secure voting etc.  This is identical to the work done by Counterparty and Bytestamp.  It also overlaps what was done with Apertus.  They show no code, only concepts.  Counterparty, Bytestamp and Apertus have all shown real code with real use cases.

Here is an article:   https://cointelegraph.com/news/nasdaq-files-patent-for-blockchain-based-asset-ownership-data-storage-system

And here is the patent: http://appft.uspto.gov/netacgi/nph-Parser?Sect1=PTO2&Sect2=HITOFF&u=%2Fnetahtml%2FPTO%2Fsearch-adv.html&r=1&p=1&f=G&l=50&d=PG01&S1=20170330174.PGNR.&OS=dn/20170330174&RS=DN/20170330174

I honestly think this patent should be opposed.  This is an attempt to control work that other people have done and which is already in the public domain.

Wow that's pretty brazen.  There's no way they wouldn't already know about Counterparty at least, the fuckers.  Make sure this is posted in Counterparty slack!

Have no fear we have been immutably documenting our progress on such things on the #bitcoin blockchain since 2013 to ensure they remain in the public domain.

Here is a example of decentralized digital asset ownerrship transfer across blockchains archived on bitcoin dated 2015.

Here is a working example of decentralized persistent inquires INQ which encompasses voting, polls and tabular data archived on maza dated 2016

Well done!

Isn't ironic somebody is going to try and go to the Patent Office to claim they're first to market with a technology which has been already well known, established and historically imprinted onto the ledger before their so-called "innovation"?

In 2014 we archived Jquery v1.11.1 onto the bitcoin blockchain to demonstrate decentralized code re-use and decentralized application delivery.

http://bitfossil.com/f5e8166c30fd080f9c5f0ab79a57b058e0d31364f8064f39badddff2675f754b

Jquery v1.11.1 was then referenced in a future bitcoin etching of a html5 PONG like game using the following common html markup.

<script src="../f5e8166c30fd080f9c5f0ab79a57b058e0d31364f8064f39badddff2675f754b/jquery.min.js"></script>

Press Space to play.
Press 1 for one player mode
Press 2 for 2 player mode
Press 3 and it plays with itself
Press 0 for a funky time
Press B for a random ball size

AZ and Up Down Arrow Keys move the paddles for two player mode.

@embii - you should register your objection to the Nasdaq patent.  Besides winning, I think you will get lots of free publicity.

Does Apertus have a market for its digital assests?   Are your assets similar to those created by the Bytestamp protocol?

That must be the Streamr ICO.  Datacoin (DTC) is not an ICO but a cryptocurrency like Bitcoin, Litecoin, Zcash etc.  It can be mined or purchased on BTCPOP https://btcpop.co/Exchange/DTC.
The genesis block was mined in 2013.

Hi pujumba,

    Thanks for finding us.
Extro24 is right; the DATA you received in your ETH wallet are a different coin.
Anything about their project can probably be found on their homepage.

Nonetheless, we're glad you found the one and only true Datacoin here.
We're traded under the symbol DTC and have a lot going for us as there has been very good momentum building in this community and project over the second half of this year.

Kindly take some time to read several pages of this thread and feel welcome to stick around for a while if you're still interested in "Datacoin".

Best Regards,
-Chicago
