gotta start somewhere  I had my own systems hammering it for almost a day, but no one else took a look. Hoping vardiff should appeal, on a coin like this with a longer blocktime. Guess we'll see! |

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

 250 blocks coming very soon! Hopefully this draws up the price to match with profitability currently. We need some news from Kim to keep this going strong. yes some news from kim would be good, it's been quiet here lately |

Only 20 hours or so until rewards drop to 250.
If we do not hear anything by then, then I am thoroughly confused.
Logo contest ended 6 or so hours ago. Nothing on that post either.

Coinwarz.com for all your mining needs. I like the foundation of this coin and it has some buzz in the community, which is always a plus. The volume on cryptsy is a bit low but that will change. Btw if anyone would like to sell some MEC, I'd like to buy. |

Well they are rarer than litecoins (only 42M eventual mintage), difficulty is currently very low, and the supply schedule is geared towards rewarding early miners. It appears have a competent and somewhat charismatic dev. The question that remains is what links, if any, this has to kim dotcom, and what that may mean for the future of this coin. I'm soloing it atm and cautiously optimistic. |

It appears have a competent and somewhat charismatic dev. The question that remains is what links, if any, this has to kim dotcom, and what that may mean for the future of this coin. I'm soloing it atm and cautiously optimistic. All coins favor the early adopters. I dont know of any coins that start with 2 or 3 coins and work up to 500 at the end of the run. |
