What is the minimum to invest in ICO?
It says in the whitepaper that "the minimum participation threshold in the main placement will be 5 ROCK tokens."
But I'm not sure if this is about ICO investment or it is about long term cloud mining contracts, so after you purchase ROCK tokens, you will be able to invest them into mining contract, this will be possible in December I think.

You should wait for an official answer. I think 5 USD is enough, so 0.0169 ETH at the moment will give you 5 ROCK tokens. But I am not sure as I said.
Hmm.. The minimum investment is a quite affordable. If we are interested to invest, should buy now because after the 29th of October the price will rise $ 1.2 per tokens.

After the 2-year mining contract, backer may make reinvest and buy another mining contract.
Ice Rock cave in not the last location, in future we will expand the area, we will find more good places for mining.
4600 ASICs is not a final result. It will be more in future.

5$ is a minimal amount to invest.
and 10 ROCK tokens is a minimal amount to buy 2-year mining contract.

Check out the link

https://news.bitcoin.com/national-bank-of-kazakhstan-restrict-exchange-mining-cryptocurrencies/

Is IRM keeping closed tab on this news.  What is up with that Bank guy?  We all and IRM is just trying to make a world a better place.

But from article appears they will have much challenges to stop mining though.

1. Yes. We are aware of the event. And we know what our government wants. It wants to have taxes from mining, like any state in any country. And mining in Kazakhstan may be will be legalized. But while this happens, taking into account the speed of adoption of laws in Kazakhstan - the two-year contract for mining with our investors will finish soon. )))

2. PLEASE READ THE WHOLE ARTICLE TILL THE END.

In conclusion "Following the statements by the chairman, Tengrinews interviewed some experts to ascertain whether it is possible to ban mining in Kazakhstan. They “agreed that it would be National Bank of Kazakhstan Proposes to Restrict the Exchange and Mining of Cryptocurrenciesvirtually impossible to do this, however, they agreed that regulatory measures should be introduced,” the publication reported.

Financier Eset Butin expressed that mining itself does not carry risks for a country. He noted that mining is not prohibited by law today and it is each person’s own business and risk whether to carry out mining, adding that:

“It will not be possible to build any restrictions in terms of home mining…A person is engaged in mining, paying for electricity. What [are the] problems?

Lawyer Vitaly Kazantsev noted that “before banning mining in Kazakhstan, it will be necessary to give this process an exhaustive definition, and this can be difficult,” the publication described. “First of all, the very process of mining is carried out by those who extract cryptocurrencies independently, and the second part – companies that lease these mining farms, etc.,” he described. “Question, who does the chairman of the National Bank want to prohibit?”

3. Opinion of President of Republic of Kazakhstan https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SYqpDBQm8Co

So everything is OK to Ice Rock.

So thanks for CARING.

I think it’s fake news... I see no quotes regarding mining in here, or any citations to where the government plans to shut anything down. Quite the opposite, google Kazakhstan Cryptocurrency and it’s all positive news from the country except this one random article which is mostly opinion based and no facts.

The shelves are looking a little empty but this will change soon. ASICs on the way, your supplier can expect a new order soon as more and more investments are coming to Ice Rock Mining.
I invested with the intention to sell tokens on May 1st but now I'm trusting you more and more and I might be interested in a long term partnership. I will read about mining contracts and how that will work (weekly/monthly payments, how many coins will the renting of one ASIC cost).
Good job so far, guys!
