I just saw on the Gatcoin website news that "Crypto-currency leaders Yoshimitsu Jimmy Homma and Takaya Imai join Board of Advisors". I guess that came as a result of the recent trip. There's just more and more reasons to invest in this project presale. I'm surprised that the tokens sold is still 33%. By some very rough calculations, I think that's around $3.3M USD invested which is not bad, but if people realised how big this project is, the cap would be reached in no time.

I'm wondering myself why they haven't sold more with such a promising Project and the Team actively promoting it on various Events. But yeah, 3.3m$ is not bad and they still have time to attract more Investors.

I saw in the whitepaper that if Gatcoin doesn't reach it's total public sale (presale + ICO) target of $20M, then the team will have to find other sources of funding. I hope that it won't come to that scenario because additional sources of funding will probably mean that some big angel investor will get a ton of cheap Gatcoin tokens which will probably be dumped on the market sometime.

There should be more videos for updates I tried to search a lot for the videos but had no luck in finding any , I know it is out there because of the pictures but could not find any. We really need to focus more on some HYPE .
There is
- GATCOIN wins 1st place in Blockshow Asia Meetup
- JAPANESE EXPANSION
Crypto-currency leaders Yoshimitsu Jimmy Homma and Takaya Imai join Board of Advisors
We could have used this news to get a lot of HYPE but we didn't .

20 millions is quite high to achieve, especially right now. I think that they will adjust their budget

There is no soft cap , worrying about softcap is really not a thing to put in mind , we are currently 34% and still 9 days to go . I believe things will get speed near the end since the bonus is fixed so no one worrying about missing it .

I think Gatcoin is very underrated at the moment. They are working real hard, filed a patent for their a-drop technology. When the ICO starts, it really should sell out soon. Otherwise they have to work on their marketing

I read some of you talking about smart contracts but we don't know if the GAT blockchain will have smart contracts. In fact I wanna know when the entire blockchain's documentation will be released
not sure if they're necessary since Gatcoin controls everything about any tokens minted for their customers. Exactly, there's no need for smart contracts, they just need to mint tokens based on merchant's demands. I don't see merchants manage directly all their tokens The purpose of smart contracts in GATCOIN will mainly be to help merchants control the use and expiration of their Merchant Tokens. So if they want to issue a promotion for a certain period of time before the Tokens expire, this will be done through the smart contracts. Another reason why we think this is such a great solution! Smart contracts on the new chain? How they will be compiled? Solidity? Viper? A new program language like Plutus (when Cardano team will deploy it) maybe? We will use Solidarity to compile smart contracts for the beta demo. But will likely use something different for the final release version. This is the first I'm hearing about Cardano's Plutus.

Yeah they were under the radar for some time at least for me but it becomes clear that these guys have real intentions. GATCOIN could become a serious player in the scene.

I am looking forward for some fine updates about the going of the road map. I've been reading some new into articles but it would be nice to be posted here. The hard cap is looking good, more money means more investors and a good profit for everybody, so 20 millions does not seems to be a problem for a project like this.

I think that they will adjust their budget Yes, it`s very hard right now to achieve their budget goal (20 millions seems empressive for general readers), but if GatCoin would attract angel ivestors, they could easily fill up the project`s coffers , moreover GatCoin provide quite costly marketing campaign. Project aimed into retailers, there a lot of gigantic retail groups on market, which may be interested in blockchain implementetion in their business ecosystem.
