We have been working on the alpha version of the project and have finally released it.
Anyone is welcome to test the system.
The system is based on Ethereum Blockchain and ERC20 Token.


Artist Account

Artist can register as sellers.
update/manage profile.
Upload images in Artwork Vault
Photographers can upload images.
Ability to upload single or multiple images.
We have tested up-to 100 images each approx 4–5 mb and works flawlessly
IPTC info is automatically detected from images
Update modify image attributes.(Title, Keywords, description etc)
Create custom editions of the artwork

Manage vault

Artist can add/modify delete the images from the vault.
Copyright Information and Blockchain
Once the artist uploads the images the platform creates the fingerprints and writes the copyright information on the blockchain.
For testing purpose the system is being tested on Ethereum Ropsten test network.

Project Roadmap

Following are the main milestones for next 7 months.
Find duplicate images and flag fraudsters
SmartContracts for custom editions
Artist Ether key and address management
Optimise the artwork selling process.
Testing the entire system for bugs and fixes.

All above milestones will be complete by June end 2018.
Beta release and testing scheduled in July.
Get beta Artist on board

Future Plans

Currently the StockBlock platform will be for photographers, graphic designers & illustrators.
The platform will be extended for music, video, and other digital assets.

StockBlock Token

The entire ecosystem is based on xmc token(ERC20 token). From regular image sale to auctions, contest, tutors  
everything is transacted using xmc tokens. Volunteers like artwork moderators are also rewarded with xmc tokens.

StockBlock ICO

Max Supply:	250,000,000
Pre-Sale:	10% tokens
ICO:	55% tokens
Team allocation:	10% tokens
Future Development:	15% tokens
Marketing Campaigns:	5% tokens
Photography Campaigns:	5% tokens

SoftCap:25000 ETH  &  HardCap: 75000 ETH

Should the crowdfunding campaign fail to reach its soft cap goal of 25000 ETH, all funds will be returned.

2000 XMC tokens will be distributed per Ether in ICO sale. There is no minimum limit in ICO period.

Early investors receive 3000 xmc tokens per ether during Pre-ICO sale period.

The platform is based on Ethereum Smartcontracts. The token is ERC20 Token.

The copyright, attributes and editions of the artwork are created using smartcontracts.

The max supply is 250,000,000. The hard cap for ICO is 150,000,000 XMC tokens. 2000 XMC tokens will be sold at a price of 1Ether.

Couple of things I want to share_
What about doing ICO after delivering the Alpha first , since almost 2 years you guys did everything on your own?
And I can't see any
details about teams [ linkedin or Facebook ] except co-founder or developer likes things!

Steemit is for content sharing. StockBlock is for selling and buying artwork(Digital for now). More over its about preventing copyright infringement and attributing the artwork creator for ever. The platform will also track the images and list all websites where the image is being used. The system wont have any duplicate images as it checks the perpetual hash value. No matter how the image is altered it will display the list of altered images.

Even after altering the image in various forms the system is able to detect the original image. We are working on couple of things like tracking system database, the platform for buying and selling artwork. This project has been side project as we cant work on it full time as we need earn bread butter. We tried for VC funding but none are ready to invest on projects based on blockchain/crypto currencies.

This is a huge project and to even get into alpha we need to get on it full time. Hence we are planning the ICO.

We are a small team with limited resources. The team profile details will be updated soon. There's just too much to do and very little time and resource.

All we can offer is the tokens for the community support right now.

Anyway yeah, Steemit is a content sharing platform. And folks contributing content on that platform not just as a hobby. They are doing for gaining $$$!
Moreover the platform use their own Blockchain. So every contributions on steemit
are unique as blockstock want to make sure that for their future contributors.

It looks like it's early stage as we have not shared much details about the project development yet. We are working on pre-alpha demo. It should be up in a couple of weeks. The whitepaper will be up by this weekend.
