Alttradex will be the world’s first cryptocurrency trading platform to be licensed under a traditional financial exchange licence.  Built for traders by traders, Alttradex is a professional grade trading platform that can be used by both the seasoned traders and beginners, ensuring one can manage their cryptocurrency portfolio to the best of one’s ability.

Alttradex is built with potential upcoming regulations in mind and is in the latter stage of obtaining a licence that would enable us to have a strong input on regulations in that jurisdiction.  That alongside a unique support structure and an active stance on listing of recent ICO coins (after due diligence), will enable Alttradex to continuously remain ahead of the rest of the market.

The Market

The alt coin market is growing at a huge pace, with the market cap of all the alt coins recently reaching one hundred billions dollars and new coins created daily (admittedly, some more credible than others).  Still, the markets are in their infancy stages with only a few million active users and, with the financial trading industry being worth trillions, the potential for growth of the alt coin industry is huge.

Capitalising on that growth even at these early stages are the exchanges, with the top ten exchanges generating revenues estimated to already in the billions from the millions of BTC and ETH volume they transact daily.  With less than 6M active users on all of the exchanges, the potential for growth as cryptocurrencies get adopted by the mainstream is immense.

There are 3 main areas that current platforms will need to improve exponentially in order to remain competitive and on the right side of the law: security, transparency and structure.  Alttradex is built to address all of these issues from day one, ensuring a smooth transition when regulations  eventually do come it.  Furthermore, Alttradex will be the first trading platform to hold a traditional financial exchange license, enabling us to work with regulators in its jurisdiction and play a key role in the development of said regulations.

Alttradex Building Blocks

Below are the four main building blocks for the Alttradex platform as well as the whole the structure behind it.  These are things that a number of the current platforms appear to have brushed to one side, but we found from our research that a combination of all four will be key to the success and longevity of any cryptocurrency trading platform.

Security
The security of clients funds, alongside with overall security of the platform itself, is paramount when running a cryptocurrency trading platform.  As a result, considerable investment has been made and the team are working with blockchain security experts who have worked on a number of notable project and who to this day have never been hacked.

Usability
The Alttradex Platform is a professional grade trading platform built by for traders, by traders, providing all of the tools necessary for cryptocurrency traders to be able to manage their portfolio to the best of their ability.  Combining technical tools with unique usability, the platform is suited to everyone from the professional trader to the beginner simply looking to diversify his portfolio.

Transparency
The Alttradex platform will bring a whole new meaning to transparency and support when it comes to cryptocurrency platforms, with the aim to set a new standard.  As a result, the back end structure of the organisation is a key focus for Alttradex, including a multi-team 24/7 support structure and dedicated communications teams, ensuring that users are kept up to date and that queries are answered in a timely manner.

Licensed
Alttradex is in the latter stages of securing the world’s first financial exchange license for a cryptocurrency trading platform.  This license would enable us to continue to operate as regulation does comes in as well as work with the regulators in said jurisdiction when it comes to establishing new rules.  This ensures the long term future of the exchange as well as an ability to play a key part in what is now the inevitable, regulation.

The ICO

The Alttradex ICO will start on 20 October 2017 and will have a hardcap of $25M.  The ICO will enable Alttradex to raise funds for the ongoing development and marketing of the platform while also enabling the platform to generate users from day one, and therefore revenues which will be distributed to token holders.   

The ATXT token is based on ERC20.  There will only be one issuance of tokens and, if the hard cap is hit, there will be a maximum of 142,857,143 tokens in circulation.  ATXT tokens will have a price of $0.25 and can be purchased for ETH.  At current prices (ETH=$290) 1 ETH= 1160 ATXT.  This will be adjusted accordingly for the crowdsale.

Roadmap

Alttradex has been in the works since the back end of 2016, with the project officially coming to life in January 2017.  We have achieved a lot since the beginning of the year as the team has grown and we are confident that involving the community of cryptocurrency traders in our ICO is the best way to grow volumes on the platform from the beginning while sharing the potential upside.

While the project was initially developed without an ICO in mind, it increasingly became clear that an ICO was not just a way to raise funds but also the best way to get people involved and generate early volumes on the platform.  Once the platform has those first users, we are confident that they will not look back and will happily act as ambassadors for the platform.  In exchange, it is an opportunity for those who do back the ICO to receive incentives for something they likely already do, trade their cryptocurrencies.

There is definitely a need for more structured exchanges as the market grows and there are an increasing number of eyes on cryptocurrency.  Unfortunately many platforms lack any kind of support structure and even less are prepared for the added scrutiny increased adoption of cryptocurrencies will entail.

Yes, 60% of the revenue will be distributed to coin holders.  The payout will be given on the platform itself, as if you hold the token it makes sense to trade on the platform as you will impact revenues.

Yes, 5% of the total number of coins issued will be put aside as a buyback fund and all of the revenues from the coins held in the buyback fund will be used to purchase coins that will in turn be burned.  Buy back reports as well as proof of remaining coins in circulation will be provided regularly.  This indeed means that coin holders will receive a bigger stake over time.
