GDAX and Gemini are regulated, so you will never have to worry about them shutting down and confiscating your coins. Poloniex has some sketchy qualities but some of the highest volume. HitBtc is also a decent option.

GDAX. On Kraken, you can cash in and out with fiat, but I'm not sure it is the most secure.

The safest way to sell bitcoins is your wallet if it allows you to exchange your bitcoins to USD or EURO. As far as i know coinbase is the safest of all to exchange bitcoins. But If you want to just sell and no exchanhe then you can try hitbtc. Its bettet then others with decent price.

For me it would be just trading it on a very trusted exchanges, it is easy but always check if you will sell it in the right time because maybe when you soled it it goes down so you loose money. always check for that.

Depends on how you want to receive the fiat money.
If you want to receive a SEPA transfer, Kraken is currently the best option.
Do you use Kraken yourself? Do they have verification and if yes, how fast is it? and based on what params you think it is the best option, thanks

Sell in exchangers I guess. Or you can do trading if you want, but it's risky. The only thing I know about selling Bitcoins is through exchangers.

to sell a bitcoin, you can sell them on some trusted person/site out there. you only have to do is to search. but for me, i am using a wallet which i can sell bitcoin to my fiat currency then i send it direct to my bank account, if you are in the US, you can use that wallet also to sell your bitcoin in to safest way, i hope so. and one thing, the other best way is to find person who are willing to buy bitcoin then meet her/him for the transaction, thats the other safest way to sell your bitcoin,
