When a coin is divisible to 8 decimal places, it's kind of useless to have a "rare" block reward...BTB will not hit the price you expect it to hit.

BA Computer Science, University of Oxford
Dissertation was about threat modelling on distributed ledgers.

Then make yourself look like less of a spammer, the way you advocate BitBar and Cryptsy is kind of "spammy" and strange. Just my two bitcents.

"rare" block reward and heavy premine did not make a good image of this coin (oh, changing coin to bar also doesn't count as serious change)

Agreed,
this caper of making people have to think in fractions will never work in fast retail.

FACT: Bitbar is the second highest value of all crypto next to bitcoin

... by market cap?  Or nominal value?

I could make 1 x L33TCOIN and sell it to someone for $120.  This would make L33TCOIN the second highest nominal value of all crypto next to bitcoin.  Dunno if I could call it consolidating digital wealth though.

This post is aimed at fooling newbies who hold litecoins and bitcoins. I would advise any newbie (to alt currency) to research on the extent of pre-mining of Bitbars before investing (even your electricity) in it.

I don't know why people keep bringing up "premining". As if a coin with a five day confirmation time was going to take off anyway.

Most people that mine Bitbar want to hold it so they are not bothered by the longer confirmation times.  This prevents a lot of mining to dump like other altcoins.  I think it will still be around and higher priced in BTC a year from now, regardless of Trucoin.

+1 on that - The only reason some think BTB will "consolidate" your BTC is only because of the name, "Bar" - The fact is its a pre-mined clone - nothing special, how it is traded at the price it is now? I have no idea, but its currently dying, and will die out completely soon -

bitbar is garbage, No release date posted weeks ahead of time, no testnet, lots of premining= crap. Wait for netcoin or put some faith back into litecoin, or mine bbqcoin. Bqc is now getting a foundation and is way past the point of premining/etc. It has a low diff and lots of potential. Yes you will have lots of them, but i think the idea behind having LESS coins is stupid. Its much easier to work with a coin that you can pay for things with 100 instead of .0001

oh and bitbar transaction fees are broken, requires more to send small amounts than the amount your sending. Should be no transaction fees.

Not broken . that's how the system was designed . Look at it this way would you chop a gold bar in half to sell it? No you sell the whole BAR. BitBar is not small change its were you put all your digital wealth and sit on it. You don't put a gold bar in a vending machine right?

For fuck sake, shut up, we get it. BitBar is the future, blah blah blah, consolidate your digital wealth today, blah blah blah, make the creator rich via his pre-mine, blah blah blah.

The more you spam it out, the worse BitBar looks.

Elite BTC holders grabbing up BTB

Well that's certainly a lie, since at the current prices you could buy all of the bitbars for about 522 bitcoins. If anyone at all was actively buying them the price would be going up.
