I don't think facebook would make much of a difference. Its been years since i've used it but you can't really buy anything on Facebook.

Amazon accepting BTC would be huge but since BTC still has little adoption, I don't know if it worth it for them. Their yearly revenues wouldn't increase. Because if you need something and its only on Amazon, you will pay instead by CC if no BTC option is available and they will make the same revenue.

But we will see what happens.

Not all 1 billions users will use fb but I do agree opening up the opportunity for that possiblity. Remember many people still have bi heard if Bitcoin or how it works. BTC will need to be placed on fb to make people aware and I don't know how happy fb with would be with that. In sure they have some special deal with the likes of PayPal. Still that is bit to say it will never happen. It would be better if s new FB came out that ran entirely on the blockchain.

If the bet would go indefinitely then OP when never lose because there is infinite time that has been set as the deadline. Well, I am guessing that this bet is possible, however I am more inclined to amazon accepting bitcoins, because I think that's a big possibility.

It looks like you didn't read the first post clearly because OP clearly mentioned that Amazon does not accept Bitcoin by end of October means what your looking for the timeline is already set. But you didn't read the first post. Anyway, someone already confirmed that Amazon is not going to accept Bitcoins for now but in future don't know.

Guys it is already a fact that amazon will not accept bitcoins atm, they already announced it, so stop this, anyone who will bet on Amazon accepting Btc is already sure lost.

I probably missed Amazon's announcement about this, what I saw is they are denying accepting BTC after some claims... I tried to search about it now but didn't find anything except a few report denies!
Well, since I am in crypto every year there's a talk about Amazon will start accepting Bitcoin... and nothing happened until now, so I doubt they will do it! I guess their business is flourishing anyway, so why would they change anything and cause some problems?! And let's be honest, choosing Bitcoin as a payment option would be a poke in the eye for many countries where they operate and make a profit! So, this will not happen for now, maybe one day in the future!
