Let’s hope Mainnet comes as scheduled and as advertised. Let’s also hope AION can separate from BTC because it’s holding AION back. AION needs to stand on its own

I sort of think of what Aion hopes to achieve for blockchains as being analogous to what the internet achieved for isolated computers.

There is a relationship between the market size and the valuations of those companies you mentioned. It makes more sense to talk about a specific company because it's easier to grasp what you have to achieve in order to reach that valuation. Take the smartphone market and those companies operating there: Just saying "hey we can get 10% of the whole market because it doesn't sound like much" hides the fact how strong the companies in that segment are. Taking 10% of the whole market might sound easier than taking 5% away from Apple because you actually understand how difficult it wlll be to be better at something than Apple.

I do think Aion is still early as they only at Testnet stage (which is going very well). Once Mainnet launches, then the full marketing engine should start.

I like the idea - just that there are a lot of shillers out there and the projects with the best tech should be recognized on their merit not because CrytoNick and other shillers types fawn over it without talking about the substance.  Our feeling is that we have an organic growth and once the mainnet is ready we'll be in a better position to push harder for the press.

If scalability issues are not solved, bitcoin and ethereum are going to lose to stellar and EOS. Centralized nature of ADA is going to make it acceptable for governments. It is an interesting race. I wish I be on the winning side at the end.
