ROBIN POOL

The First AION PPS Mining Pool with a weekly Raffle and a Fee System that awards the "small" Miners

We just created a new AION Pool derived from the GitHub development branch of AION Pool, but with some new features: the redistribution of wealth and the weekly Mining Lottery!
ROBINPOOL is a pool that award the "small" miners. It uses a modified proportional PPS (Pay-Per-Share) with 1.8% Total Fee used in this way:

• 0.8% Fee is used for maintaining the pool (host, server, electricity, admins work...) and processing the transactions (payouts)
• 0.4% Fee is divided at every payout between the "poor" miners, those are the miners that contribute with a low number of shares (<1/3 respect to the max number of shares submitted during the period of time between payouts). Each miner in the "poor" class will get the same amount of bonus coins (award equally divided between miners of the "poor" class). For example if in the pool there are P "poor" miners, the collected 0.4% fee is divided by P and distributed to those miners
• 0.2% Fee is divided at every payout between the "wealthy" miners, those are the miners that contribute with a medium number of shares (>1/3 but <2/3 respect to the max number of shares submitted during the period of time between payouts). Each miner in the "wealthy" class will get the same amount of bonus coins, for example if W is the number of "wealthy" miners, the collected 0.2% fee is divided by W and distributed to those miners
• 0.4% Fee is collected for a week and it's the Prize for the Winner Miner of the Weekly Raffle. So there will be only one random-chosen winner per week that gets the whole prize. The Raffle takes place every Sunday at 12pm GMT
• There is no award for the "rich" class (the miners that contribute with a high number of shares, i.e. much hash power), except the possibility to win the Raffle like everyone else
  

With this system, the pool wants to penalize the situation where there are few big miners with big computation power and many small miners. RobinPool is like the fair Robin Hood, it will redistribute the wealth!

This is the initial version of the pool, still in development like the other AION pools, so use it at your own risk.
We will add more features and improvements in the future, following the development of the reference AION pool (from AION team).

aion currently is an erc20 token but they're working towards their own chain (kinda like sonm i think, connected to the ethereum blockchain but operating on their own)

they did shake hands, they have an official partnership so when sonm goes live, Aion is going to run their network on the sonm platform. I think this could prove a gamechanger for both projects if they can pull this off, 1$ for sonm and 10$ for aion coming right up
