Hey! I want to get into ICOs, want to invest in few and also work for them as translator, advisor, PR etc. Could you tell me is there a wallet (preferably offline) where I can store all my tokens? It can also be a online wallet but secure one. Thanks for any advices! I know I can store them in ETH dresses when they are made in ether - but want the wallet to keep track of every single one. Regards

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I do not know of any offline (pc) wallet that can store tokens, but I do know the online one. Use myetherwallet. It is the most secure online wallet, as long as you follow usual safety guidelines. There are a lot of scam attempt targeting myetherwallet users, most are in form of phishing. These scammer usually share the phishing links in forums and Slack DM's. So be careful when clicking links from stranger on forum and chat platforms, better to type the web address manually if you want to access myetherwallet.

MyEtherWallet is probably your best bet for sure, and as extra security can be linked with ledger nano.

The best and most secure option for storing erc20 tokens based on ethereum blockchain is ladder nano s at the moment. No of online wallets are secure only with hardware wallet you can be sure about your security

It depends on the tokens where it was generated with. If it was from smart contact ETH you can use Myetherwallet or Mist version wallet to store your coins

Maybe there is no offline wallet for store your token. I think it is better to use myetherwallet to store all your ICO ERC-20 based token. You should not share privet key for safety. Many often publishers may ask to you submit your waves. It depends on various token type platform.

I also recommend MyEtherWallet.com. You can choose how to access your wallet and you can decide how to protect the private key after that.
I still don't understand however, why some tokens appear by themselves and some need to be defined manually in order to appear in the Token Balance. Anyone?

For me i store them in MyEtherWallet or MEW because it's very easy to use and the system has no copy about your wallet so it's like you can't actually recover it.

Yes its the same, but be sure your on the right domain before you enter your private keys, there are phishing sites that similar to MEW just to hack your tokens. Always check the url before making a move.

MEW : MyEtherWallet
One of the solutions, there is no many. Soon, you could will use the wallet lite, when the contract will be ready Q1 2018.
But for now, MEW is the best way !

I would agree... Myetherwallet. Almost every social media campaign i joined always ask for ether wallet and as for other forum says, they use because its the most acceptable. One of the forum replies said he uses coinbase ether wallet but in the end he did not receive any of his tokens, such a waste.

That is the most common and i think wallet depends on what platform the ICO is based from. Right now almost all are with ETH so etherwallet is common and i would suggest other but it could just lead to confusion.

Well, that depends on ICO you want to invest with your money. Some ICOs have a built in wallet at their site. But the most popular is myetherwallet for storing post ICO tokens. This wallet all ethereum based tokens. There are so many ICOs which are based on ethereum. There's also an ICO which are on Waves platform. You just have to provide WAVES address to receive the post ICO tokens. When choosing an ICO, make sure they have a supported wallet where you can receive your tokens.

If tokens are ERC-20 based tokens it is very easy and reliable to store it on your own Ethereum wallet. My Ether Wallet is a very good choice. If tokens are Waves-based ones, instead, you can donwload chrome plug-in for Waves and save tokens there.

I am using MyEtherWallet but I am storing my wallets on clean computer. I try to be safe as possible and always take care of security measures. Like storing passwords in safe places. This is what you should do real properly because you can have safest wallet and you will lose your coins when somebody will found your password stored in not safe cloud.

For storing ICO coins I always use MyEtherWallet. And this account is totally different. I don't use it for bounty campaign. I use another wallet for bounty campaign. I use MeEtherWallet because it's high security. It has 2FA security system and Private key.

If you have some serious investment tokens, then your only real option is to secure them in either a paper wallet, a trezor or a ledger. Make sure wherever your private key is stored has never been on a computer with an internet connection.

You can't store token on blockchain, blockchain is the online wallet for bitcoin it is not available for the tokens. Myetherwallet or metamask is good to store your tokens.

Personally I store the most of my ETH tokens from ICO in Myetherwallet.since it is one of the best etherium wallet. The dashboard is very easy to use, fast and secure. You can also use myetherwallet with hardware wallet like Trezor or ledger nano wallet so it can be more secure but even with theses hardware wallets MEW still the best wallet available for us. I use MEW for 3years now and I still never have problem with it

The best and most secure option for storing erc20 tokens based on ethereum blockchain is ladder nano s at the moment. No of online wallets are secure only with hardware wallet you can be sure about your security
What you are trying to refer to is "Ledger Nano S".
From my personal experience, I have only used MyEtherWallet(MEW)( https://www.myetherwallet.com) and had no problem whatsoever. Just you need to pay attention to the website url you visit, because there have been many phishing clones of the website to take away your coins. It is better to bookmark the website. Other more secure methods are to use hardware wallets like ledger or trezor.

Myetherwallet is the best man and i have to say its very common as well to store the ether tokens....weather you earn from bounties or get by investing in the ICO's myetherwallet is the first option..and later you can transfer them when your tokens are tradable on the exchanges.
