This is only a rumor. I wouldn't get hyped, why would they accept BTC? It would be definitely a nice thing to see but I doubt it's going to happen. Price could go up just because of this announcement.

I think that it'll actually break it today.

We're already really really close to breaking that resistance level right now(currently at $3939 on coinmarketcap and seems to be stalling there). Chinese exchanges are still behind and their price level is at around $3400-3500 per coin right now.

I believe that there's probably going to be another pump to push it over the edge of $4000. By the end of the week, the price could well be at over $4300 or even $4500.

i guess yes because as you see these recent days the value of bitcoin is now getting stable and incresing with small incremenets overtime so theres still a posibility to surpass the 4000$ limit and start for a new season. Bitcoin is still string and geting stronger even without china.

Looking from right now, bitcoin will definitely be able to break $4000 this month.

I'm pretty sure that we will see that level broken even in just 1 or 2 days, after the current sideways movement.

When it does break $4000 i expect it to climb up to around $4400 before there are any signs of the bull wave slowing down. Then, it'll really depend on whether news by chinese officials turn positive or not. If yes then we could potentially break $4500 next month.

Well I think your right because bitcoin is heading $4000 today but I am not sure if it will cross to $4000 because the fluctuations seems to move very slow and unpredictable but I am hoping that the value we used to have last august will continue before the year end or much better if it could cross to $5000. I had made my investment that is why I am hoping for a good pump.

I think that it's just a rumour and amazon is not likely to accept bitcoin as there is no official announcement from them.
But if they start accepting then it will be a pretty bold move and it will be interesting to see how they are gonna benefit from accepting bitcoins.

Even if that is a rumor but for seeing the expected price is so near to came then I conclude and support that 4000$ will be reached by anytime soon and that one is been expected by many of us since bitcoins goes stable right now and those panic seller is I think done for dumping there balance. but if you still not satisfied for this comments/speculations maybe you should read more articles to learn more about it.

End of the week we should be seeing much higher levels than $4000.

But $4000 is basically no question right now. Even though we are obviously still trying to break that $4k barrier, it shouldn't take long at all and in fact any minute now the resistance at $4000 can be finally broken. If you asked me then i'd say it'll happen either by 3 days time.

When the price goes over $4000, expect it to overshoot to around close to $5000 before a pullback. But that's just my opinion and prediction.

As of now the price of bitcoin is already 3900 and I believe it will hit 4k dollars maybe this day tomorrow or next week. So if you have extra money its better if you buy bitcoin now and for sure you will earn a lot of profit in the future.  But invest only the extra money that you have and for sure you will not cry if bitcoin price decrease. You're correct in my opinion. Bitcoin has been under the $4000 level for way too long now and it is only a matter of time before it goes back up to $4000+, and the time is right now. It can happen in the next few days, or even today.

I would generally expect the bullish trend to continue into October as well.

This means that potentially, we could be seeing another all time high here. Great time to load up.

Why do you think that Amazon will not accept bitcoins? This is a huge market and it seems to me that to refuse such a chance is silly. They not only increase the number of sales and earn a lot of money, but will always be the first who believed in bitcoin.

There is a big probability that it will break the 4000$ resistance point if ever the rumors were true. Still even if the rumors don't come true, bitcoin will break that resistance points in due time so there's nothing to worry about at all. The best thing to do right now is hoard and hodl until we see btc breaking that resistance point and getting past 4800$+.

The value didn't drop any further than 3000$ and at the moment it's recovering slowly, and well, in what it shows to be a great currency, that can survive the problems that get associated to them! Now, Amazon accepting them is only a rumor, but it would be great if it happens, because it would attract new users to Bitcoin also and thus, increasing even more their value.

Firstly, Amazon accepting Bitcoin is nothing more than a rumor, so it doesn't hold any value. Secondly, if Amazon ends up accepting Bitcoin, they will make use of a third party payment processor. This basically means that everything related to the sales in Bitcoin, will be handled by that third party payment processor, and thus Amazon itself will not suffer from whatever level of volatility Bitcoin experiences. If merchants were exposed to the volatility, they would likely prefer to not accept it as alternative payment option -- that's the hard reality.

The price is just above ~$3900 right now. I'm excited to see broke this price and push to $4100 because I believe that if we ever din breach $4100, I'm expecting another good run to maybe $4500 before facing another resistance. But unfortunately,  $4000 should be set as the new mental barrier. So we need to wait for a few more days before seeing any positive gains otherwise the price could go south again very fast. Either way, its much better to hodl and see where it will take us in the long run.

For now its just a couple of days before the local Chinese exchanges closes its operation. And maybe this is one factor that makes the market the difficult task to breach $4000 right now. The China effect is still lingering around the corner we can hide that fact. But once its over and dust is settled, we can forget about them and move forward for a brighter future.

we are closed to your speculation as bitcoin has go up significantly today.  I expect us to be above $4000  before the closing of work tomorrow. Either Amazon adopt bitcoin or not $4000 is already in sight as China bitcoin's trading volume has dropped from 90% to around 4.5%! I do believe that the bearish market is over.
