What is Proxy?
Proxy is a service that has the goal to bring Ethereum (and other cryptocurrencies) to the mainstream.

Our app is simple to use, and simplified so that anyone can jump on-board and immediately start interacting with the network.
Users get a 'Proxy Card' for the account they create (or import).

This card is NOT a debit or credit card,

but instead a complete solution to replace the very people who defeat decentralization (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, etc.)

We believe these cards are bad solutions to the issue of mass adoption.

The only fees you'll pay are the gas fees (~$0.10 each transaction), and those are to make the blockchain transactions you're used to.

How does it work?
Proxy combined security and accessibility-- for everyone.

Proxy Card's are beautifully simple. When you create an account on Proxy, you will either import an existing wallet or create a new one.

The private key of that wallet is encoded with triple layer 256-bit (military grade) encryption onto your NFC-enabled Proxy Card. We don't save your private key unless you want us to!

When a transaction is initiated from your account, we set up all the boring details for you. That way you can review the request on your app, and tap your card to confirm it and send us your private key.

This private key is decoded on our server, we complete the transaction, and forget your sensitive information. That gives you the security of a cold wallet with the access of a live wallet, like coinbase.

It also means that in the unlikely event of a hack or breach, your money is always safe.


It also means that you can check out on our partner merchant sites simply by typing your username, and tapping your card on your phone!

What problem does Proxy solve?
Currently, there are two options for Ethereum wallets. You can have a live wallet that is susceptible to attack and never truly owned by you, or you can have a cold wallet that requires you to maintain a sync and be tech-savvy. Proxy allows the security of a cold wallet with the ease of use of a live wallet! Also, current 2FA authentication solutions are flawed (see this TechCrunch article). Proxy is solving all of these problems!

Great project, something different than tenx, monaco and others, i think this will target eth and the tokens and provide liquidity. It will definitely make all eth assets spendable.

and who will set the rate when exchanging? you, or look at some other stock exchange..

We will be minting and burning at an amount defined later to help volatility, but will be based off of exchange prices.
