I'm new to this and I love the idea. That's why I signed up but I have a question about what to do next.

I established an account at TradeHill and have bitcoins in my account ready to be spent. I do not see anywhere on my account page where I can transfer my bitcoins to an e-wallet at another site or even purchase from a vendor.

Could someone please explain what I need to do next or what I'm not seeing. I've been patiently jumping through all the hhops and I know I'm almost there but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you asking how to transfer from your PC to TradeHill?

If yes, on TradeHill go to Deposit Funds then click on BTC on the horizontal line of currency types. That will give you the option to deposit BC's.

Let me clarify.

I have 20 bitcoins in my TradeHill account. I am trying to puchase an item at another bitcoin site. They give me a number to deposit the bitcoins into but when I go to TradeHill there seems to be no page that I can see for setting up that transaction so that the bitcoins go to that account.

You would use the regular bitcoin client to make this transaction. Tradehill is for the trading of bitcoins for actual currency on its own market, not between other websites.

thx limb. I got it figured out. From the withdrawl page you click BTC and it brings up the page for transferring BTCs to an outside e-wallet or vendor.

I couldn't find a transfer page but tried clicking the BTC link above the types or transfers and viola.

thx for the responses

You are not the only one that had this problem!  I did too.  It isn't exactly obvious how to withdraw BTC, but I am sure they will modify the site eventually to make it better. That said, I like TH and have had very good communication with them.
