If you are going to choose bitcoin as your school subject issue then you should first make your own outline. In your outline follow the basic format such as the etymology, history, reasons why bitcoin was made, what is its purpose, who created it etc. You can also add the impact of bitcoin to the future society or you can site the advantages of bitcoin versus the traditional form of money which is cash. Not sure you should single out your thesis solely on Bitcoin, making it about crypto currency in general may be a better way to go and give you more options to go at if you come to a stop.
Rethinking money has a nice sound to it, you should expand more into how a crypto currency though can make a massive change to individuals lives in different parts of the world. For example you look at all the Airdrops and bounties different coins give away. A particular airdrop might be say $0.50 worth of that crypto currency, to someone in the US that single airdrop may not go so far by itself, to someone in a different part of the world that one airdrop could go so much further.
Not only is crypto currency a way of rethinking money but it is also creating global opportunity to people who may never have had that option in the past.

I think the same, and I add how there are some lost Bitcoins, because some owners have lost their private keys, how this influences the alternative economy, since reducing the number of Bitcoins increases its value more, and can refer to the Law of Supply-Demand, where there is a totally different market than the stock market that has support in its actions.

rethinking about money is to find the problems of money. and the main problem of money is how it is created.
with national government currencies its created via loans. basically someone has to get into debt to the amount of its creation and then use their labour, skills, time to work off the debt, where by the funds are then kept by the banks
these currencies make sure by their growth that a loaf of bread 20 years ago was 2x cheaper(5%/y inflation) and will probably be atleast 2x more expensive in 20 years


bitcoin is different as no one has to get into debt for its creation. no single institution licences, holds, secures the funds and its not limited to what country, person can apply to use it. just download a program, buy some, use some and its creation amounts is done so that buying something for 1btc 7 years ago.. you can now buy 1000 of those 'somethings' for the same 1btc now

sticking with a debt based currency is bad. sticking with a restrictive currency where institutions can control how much you can spend ($500 atm limits and $10,000 bank counter withdrawals) are a thing of the past

You may first introduce bitcoin, the meaning, the uses and somehow how could they get it , you may say that they can get it thru trading, investment or gambling(but gambling is prohibited in school you might exclude this one). And then tell about blockchain , you need to use some infographics so that they can understand it well at the end of the discussion tell them that as a young generation we need to invest also for our future.

In simple words, the subject matter should be a problem. I can still remember that during my college days my professor in thesis always told me to be specific. You cannot be fuzzy in your problem statement. Every vague word should be qualified accordingly.

My suggestion is that make it a little bit more personal. That is for you to feel it. You have to feel the problem in order to come up with a better output.

Try to ask yourself, what have you experienced with fiat currency that made you ask, perhaps out of the blue, is there not a better alternative out there? Have you asked yourself "why are we even on this fiat money thing until now?" You may also recall the time when you have some ideas in you that could probably make the fiat money more convenient or efficient to use. Or, was there a time when you really experienced some hassles using fiat and perhaps got so fed up with it for having to confront the same problems over and over again?

Think of these more and deeper. State as many problematic issues as you can with the current fiat money.

I think it was a very easy choice. You should think you're lucky. Moreover, the "Rethink" theme is very suitable for many ideas about Bitcoin.

Your title may be "Think Again". Why would you have to use money with limits? Why would you accept it when someone checking, monitoring, and setting limits for you?

I think it's important to know which school subject this assignment is for because this will allow choosing your focus in rethinking. Bitcoin can be about rethinking money and banks, but it can also be about other things. For instance, it could be a way of rethinking freedom and privacy (here you can explore the following points: Bitcoin is pseudo-anonymous, so nobody knows who performed the transaction and with whom; Bitcoin actually belongs to you, there's no bank to mess around with it; Bitcoin cannot be created out of thin air and has limited supply, which frees you from the "hidden tax" that occurs when fiat gets less valuable over time; Bitcoin is not under control of a certain country or authority, so you enjoy financial freedom).

You should probably consider on how you can easily inform the possible panel about the information dump you would give to them. Bitcoin isn't that easy to describe since it involves a lot of information starting from blockchain itselg. Using bitcoin as a product can be fine but since it has a few problems, try to find one that fits in perfectly with your topic that hasn't been really discussed in the past. Remember to search whether your problem statement has been indicated and resolved in the past.
