Yes, the problem is, the former admin on XNN CryptoCurrency Telegram was trying to convince users that they were linked to the VMWare Xenon project, when they were not.  VMWare has confirmed this.

We have no idea who the people on Telegram are, because that Telegram is not linked from the main Xenon Webpage, nor was it ever linked in any official communication via their Twitter, Slack, or this announcement thread by the OP.

I can't trust that telegram for now ... they need to provide some evidence that they are actually part of the Xenon team, and that the project is moving forward.

I couldnt find them on telegram. The groups that I found with Xenon name didn~t look like official groups

There are many Telegram based scams.  This could have been an enemy of the real developer or some high school kid playing a prank.  Not sure at this point.

Their website has not been updated since December, their Twitter is dead since November, their slack is dead since December, and the OP of this thread hasn't logged on since December.

All we have is these guys on telegram who claim to be the Xenon team, but can't provide evidence, claim they lost the password to Twitter, and have spread bad info to the point that Xenon was tagged as "fraudlent" on their CMC github link...

Not sure if this is universal, because they banned me (read only) from telegram for asking questions, but this is what I got when I tried to open their telegram today.  Is it gone for everyone?

If I read the information you provide, it indicates that this project is really a scam. The developer did not provide clarification on this news. So, what can we expect from here?

You're right, it's unfortunate. XNN has  come to be nothing less than a long-term gimmick. We were buying a token which did not offer any guarantee.

It was a free distribution, did someone buy coins for money? I participated in many distributions and only a few projects are still alive, the others have already died.

This project really died, I do not see any reason to keep their coins, as there is no development, it is possible that the coin will grow a little on the growth of the market, but it does not make sense.

This fork is still pie in the sky at this point and needs work and Trying not too lose faith. If people had easy access too there coins there would be more volume.
