Pool is down since Late Friday or early Saturday. Looks like this is a reoccurring issue and might have to find another pool that I can ASIC
mine with. Oh well, let's see how long it takes them to get it back up this time....lol

Cheers!

I said several times in this topic that this pool is a scam, and that ppl should not use it anymore, Im sorry you had to discover it the hard way....
I have some FTCs there and been trying to cash them out for years....

Hi TheBlocksFactory operators,

The DigiByte community is thrilled to inform you of the release of 7.17.2, ready for immediate installation. We have our mandatory protocol upgrade to Odocrypt (Replacing Myr-Gr) scheduled for Block 9,100,000 at which time you need to be running DigiByte Core 7.17.2 to ensure you are not left behind. This is expected to be reached approx July 19th 2019

This version also includes the Dandelion++ implementation enabled by default, though this can be disabled by launching using -disabledandelion=1

You can compile the latest version if you would like: https://github.com/digibyte/digibyte/tree/7.17.2
The upgrade should install over the top of 6.17.x with no changes to RPC calls etc made since

Alternatively if you want quick access to the binaries, you can get these from https://github.com/digibyte/digibyte/releases

In order to ensure the whole network is ready for the upgrade, can you please send me back a confirmation once you have completed the upgrade, so we can check you off at our Wiki, as we want to ensure we have reached out to all Exchanges and Pool operators where possible.

Sincerely

DigiByte Team

Also, when upgrading, you can now run all 5x algorithms from a single digibyted instance, simply by updating the pool software to pass the algo every time getblocktemplate is called.
If no changes are made, existing software will still function the same with algo= being passed in digibyte.conf

But, running 1x larger server that doesn't keep having issues seems better than running 5x smaller servers Wink

    TheBlocksFactory, multicoin pool since 2013

    A
    • Define one worker per miner
    • Use fixed diff. Ex : Username.workername_diffXXXXX

    ----------------------------------------------------------------

Hi I am using BFG MIner with moonlander 2 and trying to set up a worker with you (set up my l3++ no probs excellent thanks)
    Not getting anywhere are you suggesting I do something like this : bfgminer.exe --scrypt -o s1.theblocksfactory.com:9004 -u Mintoid55.1diff_512 -p x,d=** -S MLD:all --set MLD:clock=600
    pause

    cheers

@lucazane I want my Feathercoins and Orbitcoins.
Its a very small amount, but for me it is important since I mined them with my own work and my own electricity.

    Hi,

I registered on https://dgb-qubit.theblocksfactory.com/accountdetails.php pool and try to update my account settings (to paste my wallet).

I have the following problem: Fatal error: Uncaught BitcoinClientException:
    • : Connect error: Connection refused (111) thrown in Unknown on line 0

I entered valid PIN but the proble is still exist.

And I used my DGB wallet address from Freewallet.org

What I have to do to avoid this error?

I assume I am late to the party as well. I don't have much DGB left in my account. However I would love to get them.

Unfortunately even months before they closed I tried to withdraw but couldnt, there are several scam accusations about this pool and it seems they were right after all.
After a certain date, everything that was mined just wasnt paid to miners any more, even though it appeared in your balance (so ppl continued to mine for a while), you could not withdraw it....
And I see ppl now continue trying to mine on this pool or to withdraw from this place, seems they dont read the messages anyway....
