why has it gone down a few times a today? I've noticed my miner stop working because of failed connections to the pool.

I'm going back to litecoin till this is resolved.

You can setup another pool as a back-up pool in most miners.
I use CGMiner and just add another -o pool:port -u username -p password in the command line Smiley

whats going on here??

I'm not getting any payouts on blocks I've worked on.  I found two blocks in that image, nothing more than the .2 pxc.

Ok, The next block that was confirmed paid me 11 PXC.  But, where are the payouts for the first hour that I started mining?  I started mining around 07:09 then found a block at 07:13 and 07:39 but no payouts on those or blocks between?  That doesn't make any sense.

Two things:
1) How long should it take (in minutes, approx.) before I start getting paid for work? 20 confirmations looks like it should be 20-30 minutes, right? I am past that but no transactions yet..
Edit: seems i have the same problem as chondrite above - i only get the 0.2 block finder's fee, nothing paid for other work.. :/

2) I see the pool is now at more than 51% of the network - how can you be sure we are not building an invalid chain? This has happened before on other pools/currencies. Can you do something to limit new signups or something to avoid hashing invalid coins?

Thanks,
dj

Now my payouts dropped to half of what they were reported as.  I may be back if you can fix your pool.  This loses a lot of trust though.

I saw the problem, the share of the 1 or 2 first blocks is not counted directly when there are mined.

But there are counted after.(PPLNS works like that). payout are calculated on more than one blocks

the problem is that the shares should have been counted before and not after

I think it's cause by the pplns n parameter who is too big.

You are paid for your share it's just take longer

i will change the parameter to have a faster and better adjustment

OK, thanks. Things seem to work as advertised now - I guess I was just a little impatient (and confused by the finder's fee being paid before the work) :-)
