fr.wdc.theblocksfactory.com:3334 may be a little overloaded, you may use the canadian server even if you are from Europe

I have another server coming to replace the actual stratum server in France but it will take about ten days to have it

fr.hbn.theblocksfactory.com:3336 doesn't work
in the meantime mining at hbn.theblocksfactory.com:3336 (as before)
you'll do something with it or can we stay with the old stratum address?

FTC & CGB will be down for sometimes

Bad luck hit again !

we had a problem with the us stratum server last week, it was replaced per a server in canada and is working great since the begening.

About one hour ago, the wallet server began to have issue. (stratum server was still working because it connect to local wallet and blocks were generated, share counted ... )
but all the processing to count share payout ... was stopped because it need the main wallet.
I have stopped the pool while recovering the wallet

Now it's working again for WDC and DGC and all payout has been done.

The HBN pool is not concerned Smiley

Is it still OK to use:
ny.wdc.theblocksfactory.com:3334   ?

It seems to work, and being in the NorthEast US (Pennsylvania), I'm closer to NY than to Canada.

Or, does the ny.wdc address actually just point at one of the others now?

Hello lucazane

There is a new version of HBN version 1.3.

There are a few things changed, please see the full release notes here:

https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/3003-hbn-version-13/

This is not mandatory, but it changes to level db, which may be incompatible with BDB in the future.  There is code to limit size until March 15 2014.  After that point, a fork is slightly possible.

Please upgrade when you can. Let me know if there are any issues.

Also, please change your icon to one from here:

https://github.com/Tranz5/HoboNickels/tree/master/src/qt/res/icons

Thanks!

hey its my 3rd attempt to mine wdc at blocks factory. pool is great, stable, very nice UI, but...

My 24hr earning are around 36 for 2,13 Mhash and coinwarz calculator shows 43-44 for that hashpower. Thats more than 15% gone, am I missing something or just coinwarz is calculating wrong?

it normal, we have talk about it here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=221020.420

To be short, it's because of the high quantity of stales shares and orphaned blocks due to fast block time
and the difficulty to get a good estimation due to the fast block retarget.

I hope this one is going to be more stable that the previous, I'm on rbx which seems to be doing ok, but that outage is not right for my account, you should consider doing another day of fee free mining for wdc...
Done

Hey, great stuff!
I really like the support you are providing, will keep mining on your pool! Stales have gone down, stats are great for calculations.

Anyone else having problems receiving payouts?

I've got 100 seemingly all paid out: 34662221 2014-01-18 06:16:02, but nothing has arrived in my wallet. The second payout today 34786153 2014-01-18 12:13:02 also still not received.

It's seem to be good on the block chain, so check if your wallet is sync : you should be at least at block 969,391

Yes I checked explorer as well, and that's why I found it strange.

Wallet is up to date 934107 blocks of transaction history & 8 connections to network.

Then I restarted wallet...... It had a lot of catching up to do! Wallet displayed no indications of stall/hang/backlog, so it was qite unhelpful in knowning it had stopped synching..... Seems the latest wallet has a few bugs.

Just wanted to tell you that you run a very good DGC and WDC pool. Something that bothers me a bit is that the DGC pool is getting closer and sometimes going over 51 % of network. Might want to keep track of it and raise the fee or something when it exceeds 50 % and hope some miners will join other pools for a while. It's gone from 46 % to 39 % the time it took to write this post so it's unstable at the very least.

Also, is it possible to get timestamps on the user stats graph? I've seen other pools like this one where they had timestamps below the graph.
It's not really important as you can kind of guess what time it is but it'd be cool to have.

Is this pool going to pay scambeck shareholders with a 2% fee? My pool just forced this upon all miners and I really cant live with that.

We have nothing to do with scambeck, so we don't pay anything to anyone, the pool fee are for me ^^

I will look at the timestamp.
For the DGC pool, sometimes we get close to 50 % of network hashrate but it's only when difficulty goes up. On a daily basis we are between 20 and 25 %
