How is this project connected to Bitcoin?
Seems to me like this is just name exploitation, am I wrong?

It s only a name exploitation but it's really getting better. If you don't own some ebtc just buy some the price is still low. |

Hi, I think there were some serious issues with the sign up process for the airdrop this token. Whilst I received some, my wife didn't. We both got emails saying we had registered but hers was differrent to mine (mine I actually had to click a verify link hers was just a notification email). Luckily we both tried to sign up on our phones (and with unlimited data plans and shaky wifi at home will have had different IP's so as not to get each other banned). The airdrop has now happened and is over. This token was 100% premined, no new coins will be created. The dev gave away half of what he had kept back to users that didn't get their share but this only happened for the first 24hrs after the drop and he is not doing any more. Now the only way to get these coins is to buy them. They are available on EtherDelta. I think this was a real shame for this project. Clearly many sign ups did not work (for whatever reason, perhaps it was over zealous checks to ban duplicate applications, perhaps it was just a database failure) there should have been many more people recieving a smaller share of the 21m coins. With a larger community there could have been faster appreciation of what is on the whole a good idea. This does not mean there is not still room for growth, it just may be slower and there are many who are unhappy their registrations did not work. |

It's a shame that so many people are unhappy by only getting one package at the airdrop and talking about "shame" that only he and not his wife also did receive EBTC. And for all the others: Stop asking about airdrop. Get into the boat and buy your tokens at a really fair price. They are really cheap right now.
I would puke if i would give my whole power to the project as Dev did and read all your comments. Stop crying, buy some coins and support the project.

I know that feeling, cause my wife and my... daughter didn't receive the tokens too. Though, honestly, if you believe and if you care about the project, you should have followed it closely and DM the dev in 24 hours. Our problem was solved quickly and I even bought much more because I believe in this project. Or I could say that it's still very cheap to get in and might become real treasure one day, so why shouldn't we get in? No one know the future and no one know the miracle in crypto world. The only thing we can do is preparing for that miracle happens. |

Yes you can generate the wallet on the fly, however before sending anything make sure you backup the secret key etc. Standard practice in Crypto world. |

For now i just go on with my life. Reading about peoples crying didnt get the airdrop. Sometimes life never be fair. Just go on. Buy at etherdelta. I have received my airdrop. But i just let it in the wallet. Cause i dont really care actually. it cost me nothing to hold on. If it drop. Its ok. Cryptos game. If dev care about his token. He will up for so something for sure. Just be patient and keep up to date.

"on the fly" ? i just generated a etherwallet there... thats the wallet where the eBTC will land ? Go to www.etherdelta.com and create a new account. It will prompt you to save the secret key which can be used to access your account later. Now use that address to send funds to the newly generated account and you should be all set. |
