i finally realised my .conf file was saved under wrong name. i followed the example in earlier post aand it started to sync. then it got stuck at block 10,000 and stays there no matter what i do. been this way for days now.

I downloaded the wallet in forum first posting.

i actually looked closer at the version of my current installed wallet and noticed it was 1.0 so i went to this forum and downloaded the new one. now its in sync mode like normal and almost done in fact. so guy check your version. if you still have the version with that evil robot that is the old version.

well yeah. the difficulty is super high. it's hashrate is low so it will not find blocks. unfortunally people are mining at non-developer pools so the dev is not getting any income from mining fees.

I am trying to setup the wallet, eddiecoin.conf in the roaming folder and all, but from the log it seems that I am getting connection timeouts to the nodes. Any ideas on why?

I am using a VPS, even tried to disable the windows firewall to check if it is blocking any ports without luck
