As we do already have a gallery of mining rigs, we do also need a gallery of burnt hardware, I think. I just came to that idea since I fried my power supply. It started with black screens after mining a couple hours, then today slightly smelling burnt - I sat next to the computer and was just thinking when I will get to hear the PLOFF sound - then it happened and turned of the rig. So far nothing seriously happened. I opened the PSU but could not find a distinct defect.

But maybe you have a better story and pictures around faulty hardware.
Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

You should go find the thread where the vapor chamber on the guy's video card blew up. That was a fun one to look at
