It depends on how long you are planning on to hold the coin. According to me DGB should be a good coin to invest in right now as it is already at a lower price and apart from that I just read a thread where they told that a new DGB website based on blockchain is being released on OCT 1. The link to the twitter post is https://twitter.com/DigiByteCoin/status/910498664887443456 . So if this is true then DGB might see a spike in the price and it might be a good time now to buy DGB.

It would be best if Ethereum alone because bitcoin has soared higher than ethereum and let's make way for ethereum as a potential altcoin that will definitely be levelling up with bitcoin someday. I can see how ethereum builds up their value with the help with other traders and investors just like my co-member did when he invested such amount and he got a higher value when it pumps higher. It was his luck by then. I want to be like him someday and hoping for a nice kick again and again for ethereum altcoin.

you can invest in ico is better than you buy altcoin in market. you can invest or buy guts, i think its bright in future in good price in the market

investing in ico also gives you the possibility of multiple profits because you bought the coin before that coin entering the exchange / market (but it also has risks)
for OP you have a fairly small capital of only about $ 40 but it is suitable for trading / short term investment, maybe I would suggest buying DGB or ARK
