Accordoing to wikipedia.org: Gambling is the wagering of money or something of value (referred to as "the stakes") on an event with an uncertain outcome with the primary intent of winning money or material goods. Gambling thus requires three elements be present: consideration, chance and prize. Considering that the value of Bitcoin is highly unpredictable and there's a chance that you can lose what you invested, It's really hard to argue that investing in Bitcoin has a lot of similarities with gambling. |

Guys, gambling has a rules. You have to get a licence for gambling company. And it works smth like 100% of money comes to the casino and only 94% gets out of casino. So, casino`s fee is about 6%.
Bitcoin is decentralized currency.

I think there are significant differences between these two things. For one thing, if you bet $100 on dice and lose, you have just lost the whole $100. However, if you buy $100 worth of Bitcoins and then it drops 10% in value, you still have $90, so you probably won't lose the whole investment. Also, you can do research on Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies and you can follow the charts and trends to make an informed decision on what and when to buy. But with a game of chance like dice, you can't do any research that will help your odds.

I don't know why people say bitcoin is gambling. Its not gambling. You are investing your money and time. You use your internet. So its not gambling dealing with it.
Currency accepted by bankers is not gambling but we converting our money and investing on bitcoin is a type of need to think we are not actually following rules of government however it's all politics day in and out we are breathing by getting hacked daily from officials so to keep ourself survive bitcoin is a good choice but we investing or putting our bitcoin in gambling sites is quite really a gambling even I feel that is also OK reason behind we gamble some one so both the people knows before it is gambling and they enters in so there is nothing here we are gambling others. Only gambling is like hackers who steals. |

I think bitcoin is not gambling because I put my time and money to make it increase and not to be gambled by someone, I think since I started bitcoin no one want to do that they just want to earn bitcoin.

In my opinion, bitcoin is not a gamble. The person who considers bitcoin is the real gambler the person does not understand the workings of this bitcoin. It will be our job to tell the crowds that this bitcoin is gambling.

I think bitcoin is kind of gambling. You sort of gamble your money on investing with bitcoin. While trading, you are hoping to win and get a healthy profit.
Yes it is gambling if you the way like that but it is lesser risk and the probability of getting your money back is 100%. You will earn profit just by waiting so do not hesitate to invest or not. |

All we want is that our bitcoin is become a real money. In what way? Is to invest and trade it. However gambling is not the same on bitcoin. Gambling is to invest money but you dont know weather your losing or winning. So if you lose that was not good investment. But in bitcoin if you invest your bitcoin that was surely increase your money. Your not lossing but your winning. So bitcoin is not gambling it is a job who acknowlegde people to invest for increasing money not to lossing money.

You have a point, we can not really say it that words in bitcoin. Yes, it means that you will bet your money to grow through your difficulty to achieve your desired cash value. In bitcoin it's not easy yet, almost everything here is being sought, waiting and struggling. Do you think that's what others say? they may not know how much help bitcoin can give to every person around us and others  . |

Even trading may become gambling, if the traders only do it depend on luck . Many incompetence traders are trying to grow their bitcoin in trading. |

And you should be more responsible in taking care of your bitcoin. Also for me Bitcoin is not a gambling. It is better to hold or buy just to make a profit, life goes on we should be more pratical. Life isn’t easy. |
