What encourages you to invest in any altcoin?

I am a crypto enthusiastic and i know a 90% of people here on bitcointalk are as well.
There are a lot of altcoins in the market today. What should one look out for before investing in any altcoin

The price of course and the potential of the team, because if their campaign seems too good to be true then it is too good to be true. You need to see if their project is somehow reliable and if the managers is reliable too because when they are not an authority, they can never be trusted at all but I'm not saying that all of them are just scams. But it involves momey so you meed to choose the right coin to invest in.  One thing, make sure that the team or the project always updates on the happenings because a good campaign always updates us.

i think first time we need to take a look the coins position on coinmarketcap.com then visiting their website to read their project and then i take a look in the market. usually i look their history at least for 6 month ago, how it looks like, i am watching the coin position in the market (every market that listed on coinmarketpcap). from this, i am trying to determine and decide to buy or not and if the progress from that time is good then i will buy the coin and hold for a while and if necessary, i will do day trading for this coin.

Project and Team mostly, but lets not forget that alt coins can jump 400% percent over a week which big coins like Eth and Bitcoin can't do anymore.

The two things that encourage me the most to invest in any altcoin are the popularity and the rate of growth of that coin. Other things like concept of the coin and team also matter. The popularity of the coin is important because the popularity of the coin decides it's acceptance. The popular the coin, the higher the acceptance.
The rate of growth also matters as higher rates of growth makes the investment in the coin more profitable.
A strong and unique concept of coin and a strong team is also a positive aspect to look at.

As a trader or investor you would normally choose up the altcoins which you do see that has the potential to give your profits in a matter of time but knowing this kind of thing is really a hard thing on most traders which we cant really able to know on what would happen ahead that is why as a trader or investor we would really make anytime speculation moves when it comes on price prediction.

The alt coin market has grown significantly larger over the last 6 months and i'm looking at coins that have the fast track at bringing their product to market and enabling widespread adoption. Companies that have an already present user base they will use to implement the coin on have a distinct advantage in bringing a tested product to the masses and fostering adoption.

Altcoins are similar to Bitcoins in the sense that they are both relatively volatile right now when it comes to their value. The more one invests into altcoin, the greater chance that person has at gaining a profit.

Greater profit when you trade altcoin but greater risk compare when you trade with  bitcoin ! As for example , we can see many ICO that occur everyday in order to compete bitcoin with their way. Some of them are being made because they want quick profit and end with scam
So just make sure that you've observe your altcoin before try to invest ( usually based on community feedback )

The digital market is a changing one and yes bitcoin and altcoins prices are volatile in nature but there is a huge difference between the prices of all the crypt coins and the rate at which the price changes. Bitcoin is the number one crpto coin in giving profits while ethereum stands first position in altcoins. For earning huge profit, bitcoin is the best but some altcoins have good potential too like wth, monero, waves, neo, ltc.

For me the only altcoin that I am trusted in with the potential and the value of it is the ethereum. That is the only altcoins that caight my attention. I already invest in it, I bought it when the price was low before and now I'm gaining a lot because they pump. They are lile the bitcoins before when it was just getting started. When it becomes to altcoins my eyes and my investment is always on ethereum because it is tried and tested by me. Trust ethereum jist how you trust the bitcoins. It will guaranteed you a lot of money.

The amount of profit it makes in just a short time is very tempting. It makes me want to invest in promising altcoins because it's like everyday there's a coin that is getting pumped more than 5x-10x.

The team first and foremost. If I don't have faith in the team, it doesn't matter what they are trying to deliver. A very strong team can succeed even with an average idea.
