Hi Everyone

I just found a website that sells "Bitcoin mining script" What is this?Huh?? I've never heard of this mining method before. I know that the only way to mine Bitcoin is by using a GPU or ASIC. Is this a Scam??? Fill me in mining experts

Mining script what they mean is I guess its just the website like genesis mining website where user can register or do payment to buy the number of hashes like that. Actually that website wont mine anything. To mine bitcoins, you need to have asic miner . Mining site what they are selling is just like a hyip site . Hope you understood.

To mine bitcoins, you will need a mining software, not a mining script. From what I could find out, the mining script is an interface that you use in a bitcoin pool of sorts. This is what you will need to join a group of miners to mine with them.

What they have likely done is wrapped one of the miners and a virus in a nice little, non-open source, package. Otherwise, and I would only touch an open source miner, they used some outer coding to make it easier to use for those that cannot handle typing a single command to start things, or they have used some outer coding to provide another function, maybe something API and reporting based. Most likely, it is a virus and a miner wrapped together and modded to start the virus when the miner is run.

I dont think that there is short cut to mining bitcoin like mining script, but mining is done through hardware known as an ASIC ( Application-Specific Integrated Circuit) was designed specifically for mining Bitcoin.and graphics processing units (GPUs).

I am pretty sure this is a scam, if I am correct you came across a website that offers you an inflated percentage of your bitcoin back after you deposit an amount. Sounds like a HYIP ponzi sceme (scam) to me. You will most likely lose your investment.

I will say, it is possible to profit from HYIP but the likelihood of you losing money is much greater

Which I know if not wrong the process was not done by individuals or companies, but by thousands of computers around the world connected to the internet. Known as miners or 'miners'. Simply stated, they are 'computers that process transactions.
