Why you think it's a scam? The ETH is still there: https://etherscan.io/address/0xE5a04D98538231b0fAb9ABa60cd73cE4fF3039DF . Besides if they planed an exit scan they would have moved the coins long ago. Also it is increasingly difficult to steal stuff on major blockchains.

I think it's rather an abandoned project. Do you know who is the creator?
