The token is used by this third party. It is just something automated, but the token is always necessary. At least this is what I understood.

I did not know about this feature and its seems unusual and I hope they could disseminate this feature to broader audience. Are there any articles / publications which describes this feature?

Why are the SophiaTX Academies only onsite?
Very expensive onsite trainings are so 90's and don’t help to scale new products.
Not talking about getting approvals for travel expenses to the very expensive Swiss.

Today  knowledge transfers scales and happens with virtual courses and classrooms for free. (edx.org)
Why does the company not offer a virtual SophiaTX Academy course on Youtube for free to foster adoption?
Why not even offer hands-on exercise using virtual machines from the cloud companies for free?

My proposal:
•   Offer free online courses on via Youtube
•   Sell online certificates for these courses
•   These blockchain-based certificates can only be bought with Sophia Tokens
•   As long the certificate is valid, for example two years, the tokens are locked.
•   After the certificate expires, the owner of the certificate gets a threshold of tokens back. For example 10% .
•   Some more economic fine-tuning required.  Maybe some kind of token burning after expiration too

In case I was a programmer and my manager wants me to build knowledge regarding Enterprise Blockchain, I would leave sophiatx.com very quick and continue my research at a different platform.
Because these mandatory building blocks for learning new technologies are missing:
•   Public tutorials
•   API documentation
•   Code examples
•   Architecture Blueprints
•   Reference applications
•   Public training systems or applications (via VM’s on hyperscalers)

Thanks for pointing this out. I guess this are valid points to be considered by the team that if taken seriously, it could lead to bigger growth and will ensure greater adoption among its end users. I hope they will work it out.

I definitely agree! I guess we can almost say that this project is really very undervalued right now in contrast with other projects who have huge marketcap yet dont have a working prototype yet.

I think the buyback program is  really a great way to maintain a healthy blockchain ecosystem which could give the benefit of avoiding future issues that may arise with it. Good work!

Trust me, they won't remove even 50% of ERC20 from circulation, because it is an opt-in solution (just like everything in blockchain). The best alternative was to let ERC-20 tokens become deprecated tokens. That would have been much easier to do and would resemble to an opt-out solution (the original plan).
