If there is a bear market, a lot of potential that all of the coins are dumping. You can select from what you want based upon its purpose. The utility of coin makes it more progressive. Buy a coin that will move up definitely in the future.

You can try to invest in the altcoins whivch give you strong development progress just like open, zil, ont, many more. You should choose the altcoin which have a different way than bitcoin.
I meant when bitcoin gets bearish and its altcoin will be getting a bullish trend as fast as possible.
