I think they are always safe. It is not too hard to do a good ICO research now because the information is now very easy to get and certainly about the ICO company. Let's do your research before investing your capital into ICOs. Many will make your money to money. People who lose all hope with ICOs because of they're losing out on great potential.

You invest in ICO for the purpose of gaining benefits later on. But like any other ventures, there are always risks involved. So it is important that you investigate carefully all information about the project.

secure or not Yes depending on you in choosing projects. If get the right project then is safe, very safe even. However, if you follow the project is not clear, then of course useless. Therefore, it is important to really pay attention to in the selection of projects of ICO.

Only invest what you are willing to lose. Dont put your money all in one basket. Proper financial planning is important in every investment we make. Try looking in in SafeCrypt.io. A high security exchange that has high standards of quality and every piece of software is being tested multiple times before they make it publicly available.
I spent some time to study SafeCrypt ICO. I think this ICO could become one of the best this spring, because of several reason:
 1. This is cryptoexchange. And this cryproexchange has some advantages compare to existing ones: instant transactions, lowest fees, absolute anonimity, large select of crypto assts and others.
 2. They lead very good ICO policy.
 3. THey have Adequate and reasnable bonus rates.

All ICO's is risk. All investments are risk. The success of the program depends on the team and project. Study about project before you invest in it.

Yes really safe! If you know how to do it. But if you are just joining some ICO that you didn't review yet so it will be a waste of time if it doesn't became successful. Better choose what ICO you are going to participate then add some hard work on it and you'll succeed.

To add on if you want to study on the ICO not only on the technical side whitepaper and also do some research from youtubers, influencer or even ICO benchmark website which will definitely lower your risk.

No ICO project is absolutely safe. It depends only on whether you are lucky enough to make the right investment choice. You can reduce risk by diversifying investments and other methods.

not all ICO's are safe. most of actually are just scams. read and study their paper, use your instincts to judge if its safe or not. everything in crypto is a risk.

You have to be careful in ICO investments, because now there are many ICO scams. Do not be easily swayed by advertising and your fantasy about the benefits of ICO. For any investment that you should pay attention to the positive and negative. Do resecarh first before investing.

Right now there are many ICOs coming out, is it really safe to participate in any of it and spend that much? In participating ICOs I have high hopes that these coins could be the next Bitcoin or other currencies that are really going up in the market.

I guess it's not safe to participate in ICO because we do not know the funds we have invested will be used for the new coins or not because the system is not clear. Pay a lot of people who already invested in ICO and found that they lost everything and got nothing.

Yes it is safe to participate in ICO. If you have know market conditions, knowledge the team of developers. First you choose the ICO and then collect the information about the project Then i think you can easily participate and will succeed.

Investing in the ICO is always associated with certain risks of losing your money if it is carried out by people who spend it only to collect the money they have collected. However, there are many good ICOs, in which an excellent promising project and professional team. The tokens produced under this project will have growth prospects, as they will be in demand. There are also projects that simply will not collect the necessary funds and will not achieve their goal and the money invested in this case is returned to investors, while the work of other participants of the project invested remains unrewarded.

Its a high risk investment and if you want to participate to them the make sure you are really know about them. Its hard to find out the reality about a project, but at least you could learn to reduce the risk.

Which is why it is so important to do your own research and spend some time studying the project and it developers before you put your hard earned money into it.

It depends on what you are talking about.
If you mean investing in ICO (buying tokens) then it is really risky. It often happens that during the pre-sale tokens are selling at very high price but when ICO ends  tokens suddenly decrease.
But if under participation you mean working in ICO (Signature, twitter, Facebook, telegram campaigns etc.) than the worst result: you don't receive your tokens but in fact lose nothing (only time) - so its safe.

There is the trend now that a lot of projects for participation require the passage of the KYC registration. I do not like to give any data but these projects often prove to be safe.

No matter what crypto investment we talk about there is always some risk involved and if you are afraid of that then go to the bank and open a saving account to have your 5 percent per year.
