There's this great faucet at http://faucet.bitbean.org

It gives ~7 BitBean per claim, once every 6 hours.

So far, who cares, right?

Here's the idea.

I'd like to set up some sort of lottery, based solely in this forum, with tickets costing 5 BitBean, each.

Ideally, a "ticket" could be bought by anyone, simply by claiming at the faucet, and sending the claim to a central address, then posting the TXID as "proof" of entry.

The problem becomes how to fairly determine a winner, in such a way that is probably fair.

It needs to be both random and realistic for a forum Based game.

So, we are basing winners off the TXID.  There is no known way to influence / rig this number.  It can be verified easily by anyone, as it will both be visible in the forum and the block explorer.

Payouts will be 5x the ticket price, and all payments will be processed manually.  This means, if you win while I am asleep or at work, you will get paid when log in.  Please be patient.

You will never get rich playing this.  But tickets are essentially free, thanks to the faucet.

Winners will be any TXID starting with "7" because I like 7.

Payouts will be sent to the sending address of the winning ticket.  No exceptions.

Sending more than 5 BitBean per entry does NOT get you a bigger prize.

To enter, simply send 5 BitBean to

and post your TXID

Good Luck!!
