Hello,

I would like to introduce SeeKoin, a specialized search engine for Bitcoin, Blockchain and other crypto-currencies.

SeeKoin crawls the Bitcoin eco-system and index the revelant pages; it can also index other resources, like images, icon, PDF, Tweets and if it's possible even onion URL (Quiet difficult as Tor world hates crawler  Cheesy

The search engine focus on Bitcoin and Blockchain, but you should be able to grab some content of the major other currencies like Ethereum, Dashcoin, Litecoin, etc.

SeeKoin has a lot of real-time data, like price, difficulty, volume and of course main revelant news. SeeKoin also uses a system called SeeKoin Knowledge Graph, similar to Google. It can display structured information according to what you asked. Type "bitcoin price", "fork" or "ico" to see an example of this feature. SeeKoin has a caching system which speedup the output of its search engine results pages, or SERPs.

The search engine does not crawl randomly the Internet: it uses the requests typed by the visitors to fetch more informations related to those requests. For instance, typing "poker" will cause the crawler to look for Bitcoin poker pages. Therefore, I am not responsible of the content of the SeeKoin index, as everything comes from the wishes of the visitor. By the way, you can submit your own pages. Please be patient, as my over-work crawler, a mysterious program called Bobo is a very busy guy.

SeeKoin does not use any other search engine API; it relies only on its own index capabilities and has its own and private ranking system. The site is mobile-friendly and use a responsive web design. Only english pages are supported, foreign content are filtered and removed from the index.

SeeKoin respect your private life and does not record any private data. I even do not use cookies.

Hope you will like it and use it.

Have a pleasant day.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Great idea. I wonder if it could be possible to filter results by images, videos, ect. And is it possible to use google commands operator (inurl, allurl, etc) ? I guess no? since you don't use Google API.
People can't click your link to visit your site "seekoin.coml" instead "seekoin.com"

Ooooops, typo was fixed. TY, bro.
Regarding your expectation about the Google special commands (inurl, etc.), this will be implemented in the future release of the Bitcoin search engine.

Cheeers !

Warren.

You have a good concept. I tried to do several searches using different keywords and the results were indeed all about bitcoin/crypto. Though when I searched a keyword that is really not related to crypto, no result was found (which is expected) but no message as well. You should put something like "There's no data found with that keyword", not just a blank page.

Isn't it possible to show results from bitcointalk? Like when a specific coin was searched, if there was a thread about it here, it will show up there as well.

Thanks for the reply. When the search engine doesn't find anything, it displays Nothing found ! on the top side. I may have to move it somewhere else since you didn't see it  Wink
Bitcointalk is not so easy to index as the URL are not very friendly for a crawler. By the way, I will think about it.
